As the main tourism resources and the core of regional tourism attractive, scenic spots have an increasingly competitive between each other. As one of the important scenic spots in Guangxi, Nanning Qingxiu mountain scenic spot is the "green lung" of Nanning, the research on its competitiveness can make up for the deficiency of Chinese famous scenic sites competitiveness research from a certain extent, and provide certain reference for the planning, construction and building, development of the scenic spot, so as to improve the competitiveness of it.Ecological competitive theory can reflect related competitive indexes between each species within community in ecological system objectively. This article introduces the theory of ecological competition into the field of research on scenic spots’ competitiveness, and constructs scenic spot competitiveness evaluation model by utilizing the ecological competitive theory, compare other representative scenic spots in Nanning, including Liangfengjiang forest park, Wuxiangling forest park and Guangxi medicinal gardens with Nanning Qingxiu mountain scenic spot on the competitiveness.Uses Hegyi (1974) single tree competition model to calculate the ecological competitive index of scenic spot, chooses four factors which includes transportation conditions, regional conditions, areas and distances between each other of scenic spots, translates these factors into specific numerical value in the way of analyzing weights, then substitutions into the formula of competitive index to get the value of scenic spots’ competitive index; Uses Levins formula and Symmetrical a (Pianka formula) to calculate the niche breadth and niche overlap degrees between scenic spots, chooses scenic resource as evaluation index, on the basis of classifying scenic resources of each scenic spot, surveries, statistics and analysis the scenic resources of each scenic spot, and then makes an objective evaluation respectively to all the factors of scenic resources, translates these factors into specific numerical value in the way of analyzing weights, then substitutions into the formulas of the niche breadth and niche overlap to get the value of the niche breadth and the niche overlap between each other.Through the methods above, the author calculates that the competitive indexs between Liangfengjiang forest park, Wuxiangling forest park,Guangxi medicinal gardens and Qingxiu mountain scenic spot are0.074,0.150,0.130; the values of niche overlap between Qingxiu mountain scenic spot and other three scenic spot are0.775,0.711,0.559; niche breadth values of four scenic spots are calculated as follows:Qingxiu mountain scenic spot is6.661, Liangfengjiang forest park is6.430, Wuxiangling forest park is6.525, Guangxi medicinal gardens is3.285.Through analyzing the results above the author calculates that:(1) Wuxiangling forest park, Liangfengjiang forest park and Guangxi medicinal gardens have fierce competition with Qingxiu mountain scenic spot.(2) Qingxiu mountain scenic spot has the strongest competitiveness in the four scenic spots, the order of competitiveness is:Qingxiu mountain scenic spot> Wuxiangling forest park> Liangfengjiang forest park> Guangxi medicinal gardens;(3) Qingxiu mountain scenic spot and Liangfengjiang forest park have the most similar scenic resources and the most widely niche space, so the competition between them is the most fiercest.(4) It is feasible that introducing the ecological competition theory into the field of research on scenic spots’competitiveness.
