| With the rapid development of society,the impact of academic and employment pre ssures has led to the increasingly prominent mental health problems of college students,and the mental health of college students has received great attention from all sides.As a n important spatial carrier for college students’ learning and daily life,the campus enviro nment is inseparable from the physical and mental health development of college studen ts,and giving full play to the mental health promotion role of the campus environment p lays an important role in the personal improvement of college students and the cultivatio n of national talents.This paper attempts to introduce theories and methods related to res torative environment to guide campus landscape improvement,and achieve the goal of p romoting students’ mental health by improving the quality of campus space environment and improving campus space experience.This paper takes the spatial environment of university campuses as the research object,and conducts research through theoretical research and field research.Firstly,the theories related to the restorative environment are sorted out,and the design methods of the restorative environment and the enlightenment for the improvement of campus landscape are summarized.By analyzing the influencing factors of the resilience of the campus spatial environment,a research framework centered on relieving mental stress,promoting physical activity and stimulating social communication was constructed.Secondly,taking the Xingqing Campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University as an example,the empirical research was carried out,and the causes of the lack of psychological recovery ability of the campus space environment were analyzed through field research combined with questionnaire surveys,which were specifically reflected in the problems of perception experience caused by monotonous landscape elements and poor quality of environmental interfaces.Problems at the spatial function level caused by insufficient construction of campus pedestrian system and backward spatial activity function.Problems at the level of environmental atmosphere caused by the imbalance of the scale layout of public space and the lack of landscape facilities.In view of the above problems,the design strategy for improving the resilience of the campus environment is proposed from three aspects: "optimizing the perceived environment,repairing the space function,and creating a dynamic atmosphere".Finally,taking the Xingqing Campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University as an example for practical design application,the strategies mentioned above are applied to it,and by comparing the restorative evaluation data of the campus spatial environment before and after the design,it is clear that the theory of restorative environment is used to guide the improvement of the campus landscape of colleges and universities in terms of mental health efficacy.This paper elaborates the ideas and strategies for improving from three aspects: reli eving mental stress,promoting physical activity and stimulating social communication,and the main research conclusions include: 1.Optimization strategies for the perceived e nvironment to relieve mental stress: optimizing the color elements of the visual interface and focusing on the multi-sensory design of plant elements;2.Spatial function repair st rategies to promote physical activity: ensure a walk-first campus road system and increa se functional space with multiple choices;Third,the strategy of creating a dynamic atmo sphere to stimulate social exchanges: optimize the layout of public space and improve th e smart facilities on campus.Through the research of restorative landscape design of col lege campuses,this paper provides a reasonable and effective reference significance for promoting the landscape improvement of college campuses for mental health. |
