Research On The Influence Of Campus Landscape Environment On University Students’ Creativity

In recent years,with the country’s emphasis on innovation,college students are the main force in the country’s future construction,and the cultivation of their creativity has increasingly become the focus of social attention.As the landscape environment most closely related to college students,the campus has a variety of environmental types with features.Relevant research in the field of environmental psychology has clarified that natural landscapes have physiological and psychological health benefits such as perceptual attention recovery and improved cognition,but it is not yet clear whether providing different types of landscape environments is effective for the performance of creativity and whether landscape environments are because of the perception Attention restoration benefits or certain traits that promote better creative performance.Therefore,this study takes the three types of campus landscape environments dominated by green vegetation,mainly water,and mainly hard in the campus of Southwest University as the research samples,and at the same time takes the urban landscape environment without water and vegetation as the control group.and document collation,summed up 12 potential landscape characteristics that may affect creativity performance under 5 levels,and explored the restoration of perceived attention(distance,extensibility,charm,compatibility)and landscape characteristics(plant factors,water factors,rest factor,material factor,perceptual factor)in different types of campus landscape environment on the creativity(divergent thinking,convergent thinking)of college students.The study takes college students as subjects,and uses SPSS software to explore the creativity test scores,perceived attention restoration benefits,and landscape feature perception scores of creativity tests under virtual reality(VR)viewing different types of landscape environments.Differences in the impact of different types of landscape environments on creativity performance and the causal relationship between perceived attention restoration benefits,landscape features and creativity performance in this type of environment.This study helps to improve the further understanding of the health benefits of the landscape environment,in order to provide reference suggestions for the construction of the landscape environment for future creativity needs,and provide new perspectives and references for improving the overall campus landscape quality.The study found:(1)There are differences in the impact of different types of campus landscape environments on creativity performance(divergent thinking,convergent thinking),and the environment with natural elements is more conducive to the creative performance of the testees.Whether it is a divergent thinking test or a convergent thinking test,the three groups of landscape environments in the experimental group,especially the campus landscape environment dominated by water bodies,can stimulate the creativity of the testees more than the urban landscape group.(2)Different types of campus landscape environments have different effects on the recovery of perceived attention,and environments with high naturalness have more environmental benefits for the recovery of perceived attention.The three groups of campus landscape environment were significantly higher than the urban landscape of the control group in terms of perceived attention recovery,distance,charm,and total score.(3)Among the different types of campus landscape environments,the water body group has the highest comprehensive scores of perceptual attention recovery benefits and landscape features,while the urban landscape group has the lowest score and has significant differences with the three types of campus landscape environments.(4)In the correlation analysis,each dimension of perceptual attention restoration benefit and each of the five factor axes of landscape characteristics are positively correlated with creativity,divergent thinking and convergent thinking,and they are different in different campus landscape environments.(5)Through stepwise regression analysis,the causal model of the effect dimension of perceptual attention restoration benefit and landscape characteristics on creativity was constructed,and the restoration of perceptual attention that played a major role in stimulating creativity in different types of campus landscape environments was respectively obtained.Dimensions and landscape features.(6)Based on the above analysis and discussion,preliminarily clarify the factors that affect creativity performance in different types of campus landscape environments,and analyze the status quo of each sample plot,starting from the improvement of creativity,in order to effectively improve the comprehensive quality of campus landscape For the ultimate goal,optimize the construction of campus comprehensive landscape,and put forward the optimization strategy for each type of plot in a targeted manner.
