| The position and role of railways in China’s economic and social development are crucial.With the rapid increase in train speed and load,issues such as rail fatigue and wear have become increasingly prominent.Rail repair has become particularly important for driving safety.This article combines existing rail repair technology and abrasive water jet machining technology to study the contour fitting method of abrasive water jet repair rail.By establishing a model,the process parameters of abrasive water jet repair rail are optimized,laying a theoretical foundation for the practical application of abrasive water jet repair rail technology.Firstly,the technical principle of abrasive water jet rail repair vehicle was proposed and its main structure was introduced.Based on its technical principle,the contour fitting method for abrasive water jet repair rail was studied,and the plan for fitting the target contour with the cross section projection multi segment line formed after multiple cuts was determined.A geometric relationship based contour fitting calculation method was proposed.And the response surface method was used for experiments to establish a model for the cutting characteristics and process parameters of abrasive water jet cutting steel rails through regression analysis.Through experimental verification,it was proved that the model can effectively predict the cutting characteristics of abrasive water jet cutting steel rails,and the individual and interactive effects of each process parameter on the cutting characteristics were analyzed.Then,based on the theory of plane and coordinate geometry,an algorithm for generating path CNC code was proposed.The single factor effects of water jet pressure and nozzle feed speed on the cross-sectional profile,cutting and deformation grinding area surface roughness of abrasive water jet repair rail were experimentally studied,and the surface morphology of the rail before and after repair was compared and observed.Finally,based on the response surface method,a model was established for the cross-sectional profile,surface roughness,and process parameters of abrasive water jet repair of steel rails.The effects of water jet pressure and nozzle feed speed on the cross-sectional profile,cutting and grinding area surface roughness,and deformation grinding area surface roughness of abrasive water jet repair of steel rails were studied.Based on the criteria of repair quality and repair efficiency,the water jet pressure and nozzle feed speed were optimized,and experimental verification was conducted,laying a theoretical foundation for the practical application of abrasive water jet repair technology for steel rails. |
