Abstract/Summary:
Relying on the rapid development of economic technology and the implementation of national policies for the benefit of the people, since the reform of the medical industry in 2010,a large number of medical buildings are being renovated, expanded and newly built.Among them, women and children’s hospitals focus on the behavioral needs of women and children, taking into account the treatment and health care needs, especially related to the people’s livelihood and national importance,so it is more representative. The inpatient building,as the longest-used and largest place in the hospital, relies on artificial lighting for a long time to the detriment of patient recovery and medical care, and suffers from serious energy loss.In addition, improving the comfort of the indoor natural light environment can also weaken and eliminate the distance between doctors and patients and strengthen the relationship between love and care.At present,China’s research on the comfort of natural light environment is still at a superficial stage, and in the construction,it often pursues only the numerical functionality of the normative standards while ignoring the emotional needs of the users themselves. Therefore, how to meet the special needs of women and children, medical staff and other users,to achieve the standard of natural light environment in inpatient buildings, while improving the comfort of natural light environment in inpatient buildings from the perspective of emotional care is an urgent problem to be solved at this stage of design.Based on the above problems, this paper selects the optimized design of natural light environment in Qingdao Women’s and Children’s Hospital as the research object, and proposes an innovative design perspective of care and concern, aiming to comprehensively propose a set of design strategies to optimize the comfort of natural light environment in Qingdao Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The research framework and research content of this paper are determined through the background of the topic, the current situation of domestic and international research and case studies. The coupling relationship between the two is determined from the perspective of care. Then,we used real measurement software and lighting simulation software to select Qingdao hospitals for field research and indoor lighting measurement. The main problems of natural light environment in Qingdao hospitals were summarized by combining the answers of questionnaires.Theoretical and experimental preliminary simulations were used to find the optimized design elements by graphical analysis.Through the control of single factors such as the overall shape of the inpatient building, the plan layout and size of the ward space, net height, side windows, the plan layout of the medical and nursing space, the choice of the location of the nurses’ station, the public space, and the detailed design, the measured data were analyzed and compared by using computerized lighting simulation experiments, and the design strategy for the optimization of the overall natural light environment was proposed by combining modern lighting technology. Finally, the actual renovation design is carried out in the Women and Children’s Hospital in the North District of Qingdao to explore the feasibility of the optimized design strategy and method.Based on the perspective of love and care, the design strategies and measures for optimizing the natural light environment of Qingdao Women’s and Children’s Hospital proposed in this paper are implementable and have reference value for solving the common problems of natural light environment in other hospitals, and also provide useful reference for the design of natural lighting and indoor light environment comfort in hospitals, which further promote the green and harmonious development of medical buildings in China.
