Since the 21 st century, the rapid development of high-speed railway in our country has greatly facilitated people’s travel, brought vitality to the city, and led to the economic development of the city.In our country, the high-speed rail line planning is often far away from the urban areas, and the problems existing in the current high-speed rail station construction, such as remote site selection, low surrounding land utilization rate, and poor connection of public transport network, have gradually emerged.Firstly, the regularity characteristics of high-speed railway station area construction and urban development are analyzed from the macroscopic regional perspective.Taking nine high speed railway station areas in nine county-level or above cities in Hebei section of Beijing-Guangzhou Line as the research objects, this thesis expounds the location transportation and place function of high speed railway station. In terms of the location and transportation of high-speed railway stations, the problems of station location, grade delineation and passenger flow characteristics of high-speed railway stations are explored. In terms of place function, the influence of high-speed railway station area on urban economic development and spatial development was analyzed. At the same time, the correlation analysis of its economic and social influence was carried out by SPSS mathematical statistical analysis. Then,by selecting urban space expansion indicators and using geographic information system(GIS)for data processing, the impact of high-speed railway station construction on urban space development was explored.Secondly, from the perspective of meso-city,the node-place model is used to analyze the balance between node value and place value of HSR station area.Urban accessibility, passenger flow of high-speed rail station area and public transport transfer frequency of station area were selected as the measurement indicators of station node value.Using GIS platform, the outer accessibility time of the city is calculated by network analysis method and cost-weighted raster method.Based on the quantification of inner accessibility time, the two methods are compared and analyzed. Then the peripheral development degree of the station area, the peripheral mixing degree of the station area, and the construction proportion of the station area circle were selected to determine the functional value of the station area.Through field investigation and shooting, satellite image extraction, table comparison and other analysis methods, the driving effect of high-speed rail station construction on urban space development was explored. To construct a node-place model of high-speed rail station area, quantitatively analyze the development of high-speed rail station area, explore the balance of node value and place value, and summarize and evaluate the current situation and problem causes of high-speed rail station area. Finally, the causes of the problem were explained and the corresponding optimization strategies were proposed from the two levels of policy positioning and planning and implementation. In terms of policy positioning,it is suggested that relevant departments should make their own positioning according to the city’s energy level, coordinate the spatial relationship between stations and cities, and put forward differentiated spatial development ideas. At the planning and implementation level,it proposes the design concepts of coordinating the relationship between the station area and the city center, improving the connection of the urban bus network,mixed-use multifunctional land development, and the functional compound of the high-speed rail station area.It is hoped that the above optimization strategies can provide effective solutions for the decision, planning and implementation of high-speed railway station areas in our country.
