The residential areas on both sides of the road are greatly affected by traffic noise,with most residents exposed to road noise levels of 55 d B or higher.At present,studies on the acoustic environment of residential areas on both sides of the road mainly focus on the evaluation of the built environment,and let the acoustic environment assessment extend to the stage of design planning and post-construction and use evaluation,and give play to the acoustic environment assessment’s active consideration of acoustic factors in the planning and layout stage of the design optimization and guidance function,the research in this aspect is still relatively rare.At the same time,it remains to be discussed how to explore a single evaluation index to measure the sound environment of residential areas from the perspective of people’s subjective feelings combined with noise exposure.Based on this,this paper studies the noise prevention evaluation of residential areas on both sides of the road,so as to facilitate the evaluation of different planning layout from the noise prevention effect.Firstly,the paper makes a statistical analysis of urban acoustic environment quality in the past 11 years,and analyzes the status quo of residential acoustic environment quality.By summing up the evaluation indexes of the existing residential acoustic environment,this paper determined that the annoyance degree of the population was used as the subjective evaluation index of the residential acoustic environment,and the equivalent sound level Ldnof day and night was selected as the objective evaluation index of noise exposure.The existing researches on the residential area form parameters are sorted out,and the main morphological parameters affecting the residential area planning and layout are selected as the basis for the establishment of residential area planning and layout.Secondly,1600 questionnaires were distributed through the social acoustic survey to investigate the acoustic environment of the existing residential areas facing the street in Hangzhou,and combined with the equivalent sound level of 73 measuring points,the present situation of the acoustic environment of the residential areas was analyzed.The response curve of road traffic noise exposure was statistically analyzed by SPSS software,and the five-stage maximum one-stage evaluation scale fitting equation was selected to calculate the subjective weight factor of annoyance degree under different equivalent sound levels.By referring to the noise impact index evaluation method,this paper attempts to take the sum of the product of the annoyance weighting factor corresponding to the building facade area and its equivalent sound level as the evaluation index of the noise pollution intensity in residential areas,and obtain a single value to evaluate the noise impact in residential areas,which is convenient for the evaluation and comparison of the noise prevention effect in residential areas facing the street.Finally,Canda/A noise simulation software was used to simulate different layout schemes of several residential areas,and the building facade sound level was divided into eight levels with 5 d B as the interval.The single value evaluation method of residential area noise proposed in this paper was used to evaluate the anti-noise effect of different layout methods of the same residential area and analyze the sound environment.The research process and results show that to evaluate the acoustic environment of residential areas objectively and comprehensively,it is necessary to give consideration to the objective evaluation index of residential areas and the subjective feelings of the population.Through the social acoustic survey,it is found that road traffic noise has become the main environmental pollution source in the main urban area of Hangzhou,and the noise of residents’activities can not be ignored.Middle-aged and young people are more annoyed by the acoustic environment than other age groups.Under the same amount of exposure,the proportion of people with a degree of annoyance in 2022 has decreased compared with a decade ago.The single value evaluation method of noise in residential area is used to predict the possible noise pollution intensity after the completion of the residential area planning and layout design.By changing the residential area planning and layout scheme,a better scheme is selected to increase the quiet area and reduce the residents’annoyance.
