The traffic noise of a new traffic source -combined overhead road was measuered, and the noise distribution under varied road conditions and different surroundings was compared, anlyzed and discussed. The noise model of overhead road, which with special section such as slope was put forwarded, based on the basic overhead noise model by considering the effects of the special section on the total noise level and distribution. The expected noise level calculated by this model confroms to the measured noise level. And we carried out noise annoyance investigation by sending out larges of questionnaires in different noise sensitive regions such as residential quarters and schools in order to know the effects of combined overhead road noise on subjective annoyance. By aulyztng the relationship of the annoyance effective factors (noise effective factors and non-noise effective factors) and noise annoyace, the mainly effective factors were maken out.The noise annoyance model was brought forward, also the Iirninal noise annoyance under different noise sensitive regions were drawn. Some measures and suggestions to decrease the noise effects were proposed.
