In low visibility environments,cars are prone to collisions.As a protective device,the front bumper of a car is generally composed of a collision beam,energy absorption box,and bottom plate.It can effectively absorb collision energy in the event of a collision,timely protect the car,and to some extent reduce passenger injuries.Therefore,this article investigates relevant articles,patents,and products of anti-collision devices both domestically and internationally,aiming to design a new type of front anti-collision device for household cars,including optimizing the design of the anti-collision beam and adding composite energy absorbing materials to the aluminum alloy energy absorbing box to improve the energy absorption effect.A distance measuring device is installed on the front anti-collision device to monitor the distance between the car and the front obstacle in real-time.When the distance is too close,the driver is reminded to pay attention to the distance through a mobile app.The main purpose of this design is to improve the energy absorption effect of the collision avoidance device,and to install distance measuring equipment to remind drivers to pay attention to safety,providing a reference for the design of the front collision avoidance device of the car.
