As the main force driving China’s economic growth,construction enterprises play a great role in Chinese economy.However,with the deepening of economic opening and marketization,construction enterprises are facing increasingly fierce competition while gaining huge development space.The improvement of enterprise efficiency has thus become a common problem.Managers of many construction enterprises have long recognized the importance of project cost management,but due to various factors,there still exist many problems in actual business,resulting in a weakened project cost management.With the digital transformation and the application of financial sharing model,the financial function of construction enterprises is gradually shifting to industry-finance integration,process control and decision support.Integrating the project cost management process into the financial sharing service and digitalizing cost data will unquestionably provide strong support for construction enterprises to perform better in project cost management.This thesis utilizes the concept of financial sharing,the concept of construction enterprise project cost management,and the theory of economies of scale and business process reengineering.Adopting the method of case analysis,the paper introduces in detail the current situation of financial sharing services and project cost management of a specific construction enterprise and studies its existing problems.It is found that deficiencies still exist in cost budgeting,cost control and cost assessment.The main reasons include the failure of financial sharing to control cost,the poor management of cost data and the defectiveness of the cost management system.In view of these problems and reasons,this thesis optimizes the design of project cost management based on financial sharing.By adding budget,material,equipment and cost management modules to the financial sharing system and setting up a cost management department,the warning,analysis and suggestion functions of the financial sharing center can be fully played.The paper also proposes to reshape business processes in the three key aspects of budget management,construction material management and equipment management.To ensure its effectiveness,corresponding safeguard measures are also put forward from four aspects: the attention from top-level managers,the unification of enterprise system and policy,the allocation of human resources and the optimization of information system.This thesis concludes through the investigation above that the project cost management of construction enterprises can be improved by optimizing financial sharing system.The enterprises should design their business modules according to management needs and streamline their key business processes,which will surely result in lower costs,higher efficiency and development of higher quality.
