| In recent years,as a kind of transportation tool that is commonly used in life,the demand for cars is increasing with the improvement of people’s living standards.The auto parts manufacturing industry is the foundation of the development of the automobile industry,which develops continuously with the competition between the automobile companies.As an important part of a parts manufacturing company management,a scientific and effective inventory management method can reduce the company’s management costs and improve the company’s operating efficiency.For the growing trend of auto parts demand,this thesis focuses on studying the inventory management of L Auto Parts Manufacturing Company.Through research and analysis,it is found that the inventory classification method of the company is too simple,which is not scientific and practical enough.These are the causes of chaos in inventory management.In addition,the company used an unreasonable method to forecast the demand for auto parts,which resulted in a big difference between the actual production plan of parts and the demand of the month.Therefore,the inventory management problem of the company is mainly caused by the inventory classification problem and the parts demand forecasting problem.To optimize the inventory management of the company,the work of this thesis is as follows.Firstly,the AHP-ABC classification method is used to classify raw materials and parts inventories.The GA-BP neural network is then used to forecast the demand for parts,and the comparative results prove the advantages of the prediction method.Then,we propose a classification management scheme for parts and raw materials inventory,develop a parts production plan,and use it as a basis to determine the raw materials ordering strategy and work-in-process production plan.The final evaluation results show that the inventory management optimization solution proposed in this paper can effectively improve the accuracy of demand forecasting and inventory turnover rate.It can also reduce the risk of stock obsolescence,ensure the orderly management of inventory and production,and make the inventory management of the company more efficient.This paper presents an in-depth analysis of the inventory management of L Auto Parts Manufacturing Company and proposes specific measures to improve the problems in the relevant areas,which can reduce the cost pressure of inventory management and improve the operational efficiency of the company,thus further enhancing the competitiveness of the company in the auto parts manufacturing market. |
