| Tirathaba rufivena Walker(Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)is one of the main pests for areca nut trees.At present,chemical control is still the main control method.The larvae of the T.rufivena eat areca nut and flower bud,and hide in its construction of the tunnel growth and development,adults were mainly hidden on the back of the tall leaves of Areca catechu,it is difficult for chemical agents to achieve the expected control effect,long term use will also cause environmental pollution,it can also affect the quality of areca nut.In this paper,The effects of areca nut volatiles on the behavior of the T.rufivena were studied.Compounds with attractive effect on T.rufivena were screened out.Moreover,female T.rufivena ovaries were dissected and the ovarian stages classification method was established,The coordination of the two results can provide a theoretical basis for monitoring and controlling the T.rufivena.The results are as follows:The ovarian development of T.rufivena can be divided into five stages.which are transparent opalescent phase(stage I),yolk deposition phase(stage II),egg maturation phase(stage III),peak phase of oviposition(stage IV)and terminal phase of oviposition(stage V);the egg cells can be divided into three stages.which are pre vitellogenesis stage,yolk stage and mature stage,and the corresponding areas are ovarian reproductive zone,yolk development zone and Oocyte maturation zone.The flowers of areca nut were used,46 compounds were identified by Soxhlet extraction,There were 3 kinds of relative components in the extract,which were more than5%;28 compounds were identified by solid phase microextraction,There were 17 kinds of relative components in the extract,which were more than 5%.Purchase purified extracts identified,using different mass concentrations to test the adult adults of T.rufivena,under the mass concentration of 0.1mg/m L,2-Ethylhexanol,Isoamyl acetate and Myrcene had the best attraction effect.1 ul/m L was used as the total concentration of mixed compounds,The proportion was prepared according to the best mass concentration ratio,There are 11 mixing methods,Among them,the mixed compounds composed of 2-Ethylhexanol,Myrcene and Isoamyl acetate,the mixed compounds composed of Methyl salicylate,Myrcene and Isoamyl acetate,and the mixed compounds composed of 2-Ethylhexanol,Methyl salicylate,Myrcene and Isoamyl acetate have taxing and repellent activities to the adult of the T.rufivena,The other compounds showed attractive activity to the adults of the T.rufivena. |
