Infection And Genotype Distrbution Of Toxoplasma Gondii,Neospora Caninum In Domestic Goats In Hunan Province,China | | Posted on:2022-04-12 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:W H Yang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2543306812490854 | Subject:Veterinary Medicine | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Toxoplasma gondii is a global zoonotic parasite.At present,cats and catamount are the only terminal hosts of Toxoplasma gondii.They can discharge the eggs from the eggs of Toxoplasma gondii through feces,thus polluting water and food.Human or animal mainly devours or misfeeds food or drinking water containing Toxoplasma gondii oocysts,and infects Toxoplasma gondii.Neospora caninum is a parasitic protozoa that can infect dogs,cattle,goats,sheep,horses and other animals.In this study,1147 goat serum and 184 goat muscle tissues were randomly collected.The serum of Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum was detected by immunoassay and molecular biology,and the genotypes of Toxoplasma gondii were studied in muscle tissue.1.In this study,indirect hemagglutination test(IHA)and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)were used to detect Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum in Hunan goats.The positive rates of Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum were 13.34%(153 / 1147)and 2.01%(23 / 1147)respectively..2.184 goat muscle tissues in Hunan Province were amplified by PCR with Nc-5 and ITS-1 genes.No positive samples were found.3.184 goat muscle tissue samples were amplified by PCR of Toxoplasma gondii B1 gene,and the positive rate was 4.35%(8/184).Further Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism technology(PCR-RFLP)typing showed that Toxo DB#68was found in all three PCR positive samples.The results showed that Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum were found in goats in Hunan Province.The results not only enrich the distribution of Toxoplasma gondii genotypes,but also provide data support for the prevention and control of Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum in Hunan Province. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | goats, Toxoplasma gondii, Neosporo caninum, Genotyping, epidemiology | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
