| Chicken coccidiosis is one kind of protozoa disease caused by variety of Eimeria parasites in the intestinal mucosal cells of chickens.Among which,the Eimeriatenella is the most pathogenic.In the large-scale farming,the incidence of chicken coccidiosis is extremely high,which seriously damages the development of the chicken industry.In case of the emergence of drug residues,drug resistance and other issues,as well as the restrictions on the use and prohibition of antibiotics at home and abroad,these all have brought huge challenges to the prevention and control of coccidiosis.Therefore,finding effective natural medicines to replace traditional chemical medicines to reduce drug residues and coccidia resistance has become a top priority research choice.Researches in recent years have shown that artemisinin,a special antimalarial drug,can effectively inhibit the formation of coccidian oocyst walls.It can not only reduce the discharge of oocysts,but also reduce the sporulation rate of oocysts,showing a certain degree of resistance to oocysts insect infection.In order to verify the anti-coccidial effects of Artemisia annua powder,artemisinin and their analogs,and to study their anti-coccidial mechanisms,the following experiments were designed:1.Control test of Artemisia annua powder on chicken coccidiosis: In order to explore the control effect of different dosages of Artemisia annua powder on chicken coccidiosis and explore its anti-coccidiosis mechanism,One hundred and fifty 12-day-old AA broilers were randomly divided into 6 groups,respectively.For low,medium and high doses of Artemisia annua powder,diclazuril control group,infection control group and blank control group,the relative weight gain rate,survival rate,and cecal lesions were calculated after 20 times the dose of coccidia vaccine was challenged.Scoring,oocyst value,anti-coccidiosis index and other data were record to judge the effect of different doses of Artemisia annua powder on chicken coccidiosis;blood sampling to determine blood biochemical indicators;slaughter to determine the immune organ index of each group.The results showed that compared with the infection control group,the cecal lesion scores of the low,medium,and high-dose Artemisia annua groups were significantly reduced,the relative weight gain rate was significantly increased,the survival rate was improved,and the cecal lesion scores were significantly reduced.The coccidia index were 125.16,130.97 and 148.52,respectively;the bursa index was not significantly different(P>0.05),and the spleen index increased significantly.Tip: Artemisia annua powder has a significant anti-coccidial effect;it may mainly play an anti-coccidial effect by protecting the spleen and cecum.According to the analysis of the results of serum biochemical data,the addition of Artemisia annua can effectively protect the liver and kidneys,improve the metabolism of broilers,reduce fat deposits,and have no toxic side effects.2.The control test of artemisinin on chicken coccidiosis: In order to explore the control effect of different doses of artemisinin on chicken coccidiosis and dihydroartemisinic acid on chicken coccidiosis and explore its anticoccidial mechanism,One hundred and fifty 12-day-old AA broilers were randomly divided into groups 6 groups,namely artemisinin low,medium and high dose groups,diclazuril drug control group,infection control group and blank control group.After challenged with 20 times the dose of coccidia vaccine,the relative weight gain rate,Survival rate,cecal lesion score,oocyst value,anti-coccidial index and other data are used to judge the anti-coccidial effect.The results showed that compared with the infected control group,the cecal lesion scores of the low,medium,and high-dose dihydroartemisinic acid groups were slightly reduced,and the relative weight gain rate and survival rate were increased.Compared with the infected control group,the cecal lesion scores were low and medium.,The high dose has been improved,and the lesion of the cecum was significantly reduced,and the anti-coccidial indexes were 101.97,117.26 and 112.53,respectively.Tip:Dihydroartemisinic acid has a certain anti-coccidial effect,but not as good as Artemisia annua and artemisinin.The bursa index is not significantly different(P>0.05),and the spleen index is not significantly different(P>0.05).The protective effect of dihydroartemisinic acid on the bursa and cecum is weak,and the anticoccidial index is also significantly lower than that of Artemisia annua and artemisinin group.From the analysis of biochemical results,dihydroartemisinic acid can also protect liver function during broiler infection with coccidiosis,keeping liver function at the level of the blank group,but in terms of renal function,not only does not protect kidney function,but also increases kidney damage and toxic side effects. |
