As an important index in the field of soil and water conservation,vegetation coverage is the main basis to measure the state of surface vegetation and regional environmental changes.Vegetation coverage calculation can be divided into two categories:remote sensing inversion and ground measurement,among which photographic method,visual estimation method and line transect method are the most commonly used.With the advancement of information construction in China,various water and soil conservation institutions have gradually combined their own business processes with software platforms,and established a batch of water conservation monitoring systems with regional characteristics.However,the monitoring of vegetation coverage is not well integrated into the system platform,and the degree of automation is poor.Aiming at the above problems,this paper designs and implements a regional vegetation coverage calculation system according to the actual demand of Jiusan Soil and water Conservation test station.The system provides the corresponding business function support for the calculation process of the photographic method,visual estimation method and line spline method for the ground measurement of vegetation coverage,and realizes the integration platform of data entry,data audit,data reorganizing and automatic calculation,providing customized solutions for related fields.Specifically,this paper carries out demand analysis,outline design and detailed design for the corresponding business processes of three coverage calculation methods,namely photography method,visual estimation method and line spline method,and carries out engineering implementation based on microservice architecture and related components.In the above process,this paper solves the key problems in the core function of the photographic method system one by one:by adding FTP server and timing monitoring module,it provides users with automatic uploading scheme of collected images,which solves the problem that the staff need to go to the collection point to obtain data in person;Combined with saliency detection and improved adaptive threshold algorithm,a general vegetation image coverage extraction method is realized,which can be applied to different types of vegetation image data sets in the test station,and is significantly improved compared with the customer’s original method.The strategy mode in reference design mode integrates the image segmentation algorithm into the system and solves the engineering problems such as algorithm invocation and future expansion.After the development of the regional vegetation coverage calculation system was completed,corresponding test cases were designed to test and verify the function realization and performance indexes of the system.The results show that the system can meet the needs of background project users and has reference value for industry application.
