Study On The Regulation Of Different Plant Extracts On Wheat Growth In Xinjiang

In this study,the popularized spring wheat variety Xinchun 44 was used as the experimental material,the germination indexes of wheat seeds were determined by preliminary screening of seed germination test,and the germination activity effects of methanol extracts of different plants on wheat seeds were evaluated by membership function method,in order to screen out better plant materials,and then conduct pot and field experiments to verify,and analyze the effects of higher stem characters,photosynthetic characteristics,yield and other related indexes of wheat plants,the plant extracts with better activity were determined by principal component analysis.Finally,the effects of the combination and application of plant extracts on the growth activity of wheat seedlings were explored in order to provide experimental and theoretical basis for the research and development of new plant derived growth regulators.The research results are as follows:(1)Soaking seeds with methanol extracts from 16 low concentration plants had different effects on the germination activity of wheat seeds,the evaluation results of membership function method showed that the comprehensive evaluation values of 8 extracts of 0.1% Sophra alopecuroides,0.01% Sophra alopecuroides,0.01% Cuminum cyminum,1% Vallisneria natans,0.1% Vallisneria natans,0.01% Vallisneria natans,10%Datura metel L and 0.01% Euphorbia pekinensis officinalis were more than 0.70,which could preliminarily prove that they had a good effect on wheat seed germination.(2)Based on the results of(1),the results showed that the three extracts had a certain effect on the growth of wheat seedlings.Compared with CK,the stem diameter of wheat seedlings treated with 0.01%Sophra alopecuroides,0.01% Vallisneria natans and 0.01% Cuminum cyminum methanol extract increased by 32.91%,25.32% and 27.85%,respectively;In terms of leaf length,the methanol extract of 0.01%Sophra alopecuroides and 0.01% Vallisneria natans methanol extract increased by 16.62% and 15.91%,respectively.Through the comprehensive ranking of each index by principal component analysis,the top three evaluation scores are 0.01% Sophra alopecuroides,0.01% Vallisneria natans and 0.01% Cuminum cyminum extract,which can judge that it has certain growth regulating activity on wheat seedlings.(3)Based on the results of(2),in the field experiment,the length of the first,second and third internodes in the base of wheat was shortened by 27.80%,13.40% and 4.50% respectively after being treated with 0.01% Sophra alopecuroides methanol extract;The stem diameter increased by 9.38%,16.13%and 14.29% respectively;The content of IAA in basal section 3 increased by 16.16%;The content of ABA in basal section 3 decreased by 7.89%;Plant height decreased by 5.60%;The net photosynthetic rate of flag leaves increased by 3.90%;The SPAD value of flag leaves increased by 6.20%;1000 grain weight,grain weight and bulk density increased by 2.82%,24.69% and 3.64% respectively.Further principal component analysis showed that the treatment effect of 0.01% Sophra alopecuroides was significantly better than that of other treatment groups,followed by 0.01% Cuminum cyminum,which can further strengthen the research and development of products.(4)Based on the results of(3),in the compound treatment,the compound with a volume ratio of 9 : 1between 0.01% Sophra alopecuroides and 0.01% Cuminum cyminum methanol extract had a synergistic effect on the growth indicators of wheat,and promoted the growth and development of wheat.In different application methods,the effect of extract spray on wheat growth regulation was better than seed soaking.
