| Variety and reasonable nitrogen application are important factors affecting the yield and nutritional quality of silage corn.Screening suitable silage corn varieties and optimizing fertilization measures are the key to promoting the development of silage corn industry in Shanxi Province.This article first studies the effects of six nitrogen gradients(0,60,120,180,240,and 300 kg/ha respectively)and three fertilization methods(one-time fertilization-OF,fractional fertilization-TF,mixed controlled release urea one-time application-MF)on the yield,agronomic traits,nutritional quality,and relative feeding value of the silage corn variety Yayu 8,providing theoretical basis for the rational application of nitrogen fertilizer by local farmers.Secondly,a comparative experiment was conducted on 15 silage corn varieties to determine their yield,agronomic traits,nutritional quality,relative feeding value,and other indicators.A comprehensive evaluation was conducted on the 15 silage corn varieties in order to screen suitable silage corn varieties for the region.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The nitrogen application rate significantly affects the biological fresh and dry weight,dry matter accumulation,and nitrogen accumulation of Yayu Qingsilage 8.The fertilization method has no significant impact on these indicators.However,when the nitrogen application rate reaches 240 kg/ha(2021,2022),the biological fresh weight,biological dry weight,dry matter accumulation,and nitrogen accumulation of Yayu Qingsilage 8 all reach their maximum values.(2)The nitrogen application rate significantly affects the agronomic traits,nutritional quality,and relative feeding value of Yayu Qingsilage 8.The fertilization method has no significant effect on the agronomic traits,nutritional quality,and relative feeding value of Yayu Qingsilage 8.However,with the increase of nitrogen application rate,the relative feeding value reaches its maximum value when the nitrogen application rate is 180 kg/ha.(3)Different varieties significantly affect the biological fresh and dry weight,dry matter accumulation,and nitrogen accumulation of silage corn.Among them,varieties such as Yuqing 386,Dajing Jiu26,Yayu Qingsilage 8,Yayu Qingsilage 04889,and Ningdan 46 have significant differences in biological fresh and dry weight,matter accumulation,and nitrogen accumulation compared to other varieties.(4)Different varieties significantly affect the agronomic traits,nutritional quality,and relative feeding value of silage corn.Among them,Yuqing 386,Ludan 256,Dajing Jiu26,Yayu Qingsilage 8,Xianyu 1141,Ningdan 46,Jinling Qingsilage 97,and Ningdan 33 have significant differences in agronomic traits,nutritional quality,and relative feeding value compared to other varieties.(5)Taking into account yield,agronomic traits,nutritional quality and other indicators,240 kg/ha is the appropriate nitrogen application amount for Yayu Qingsilage 8 in this region.Among them,Yuqing 386,Dajing Jiu26,Yayu Qingsilage 8,Yayu Qingsilage 04889,Ningdan46 and other varieties have better comprehensive traits than other varieties,making them more suitable for promotion and planting in the region. |
