| Due to the abuse of agricultural technology and unreasonable input of agricultural materials in China in the early stage,agricultural non-point source pollution and other problems were caused,so the government has introduced a series of measures to ensure the sustainable development of agriculture.With the continuous promotion of the policy,China’s cultivated land quality rating,farmland irrigation water utilization,fertilizer and pesticide utilization have significantly improved.In 2021,the amount of fertilizer used in Meixian County was reduced by 2% annually,and the use rate of green pesticides increased to 10%.The agricultural non-point source pollution was effectively controlled,and it was been successfully selected as a typical case of national agricultural green development.However,according to the survey,some farmers were constrained by cognition and external factors,and still engaged in extensive production methods such as flood irrigation and indiscriminate pursuit of benefits through the use of fertilizers and pesticides in the production process.As an important micro subject of agricultural production,farmers’ behavior and decision-making are of great significance to the safety and ecology of agricultural production.Therefore,finding out the factors that cause differences in the adoption behavior of green production technologies among farmers has certain practical significance in enhancing farmers’ enthusiasm for green production and promoting sustainable development of agriculture.On the basis of studying relevant literature,this paper took the theory of farmers’ cognition,behavior and social learning as the theoretical support,referred to the psychological cognitive-scenario-behavior theory model,and used 614 micro-data of kiwifruit growers in Meixian County,Baoji City,Shaanxi Province and AMOS structural equation model to analyze the relationship between psychological cognition,situational constraints and farmers’ green production technology adoption behavior,and used Bootstrap analysis to examine whether self-efficacy has a mediating role in it and the specific path.Finally,according to the research conclusions,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were put forward in order to improve the adoption level of green production technology by farmers and promote the sustainable development of agriculture.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The factors affecting farmers’ green production technology adoption behavior were policy constraints(0.161),social constraints(0.154),environmental value perception(0.139)and self-efficacy(0.095).(2)Self-efficacy played an intermediary role in farmers’ cognition,situational constraints and farmers’ green production technology adoption behavior.There were four paths of action,namely,economic value cognition->self-efficacy->technology adoption,environmental value cognition->self-efficacy->technology adoption,technology cognition->self-efficacy->technology adoption,policy constraints->self-efficacy->technology adoption.(3)From the perspective of effect decomposition,the direct effect of psychological cognition on farmers’ green production technology adoption behavior were greater than its indirect effect on technology adoption behavior through self-efficacy.Based on the above conclusions,this paper put forward the following suggestions: First,vigorously promote green production technology and implement green production supporting facilities.Second,give play to the exemplary role of leading cadres and create a social atmosphere of agricultural green production.The third is to carry out agricultural green technology training in a solid manner,strengthen farmers’ multi-dimensional cognition and empower farmers’ production. |
