Farm data can be remotely sensed through new sensors and the Internet of Things,and decision-making advice can be provided to users through deep learning of artificial intelligence.The maturity and application of technology are making agricultural production intelligent and unmanned.The development of smart farm systems has advanced by leaps and bounds in recent years..However,the farm environment and agricultural information are complex and changeable.The large amount of data information and rich functions brought by system expansion can easily increase the user’s cognitive load,cause wrong decisions and behaviors,and affect task operations.It is urgent to introduce new ideas to innovate man-machine interactive mode.This paper explores the application of context awareness in the interactive design of smart farm systems,in order to improve the traditional farm system’s low efficiency of information perception and lack of intelligent services,and provide users with a better experience.The article first sorts out the smart farm system and context awareness theory,studies the process of context awareness of the smart farm system,and determines the interaction design process of the smart farm system based on context awareness on the basis of the user-system-environment interaction model.Combined with user research,sort out system requirements and farm production processes,extract four types of context information,namely users,operations,equipment,and environment,analyze the corresponding tasks at all levels,and screen out the intelligent services that the system needs to provide according to priorities.According to the application characteristics of context awareness in smart farms,the design principles of the system interaction interface are determined,and an interaction design strategy based on four types of situations: user,operation,environment,and equipment is proposed.In the interactive design practice of the Baima smart farm system,according to the determined system functions and information architecture,the intelligent interactive service is designed,and the interactive interface is fully presented.The designed and implemented Baima Smart Farm system interface can provide appropriate interactive services for different situations.Compared with the traditional interface,it provides a better user experience in terms of intelligence,convenience,warning,and personalization.The research on intelligent interaction based on situation awareness also provides a reference for the research and practice of smart agricultural system design.
