To promote the potato farming industry to the direction of complete mechanization of the whole procedure,as there is no corresponding machine for seed potatoes cutting,the study designs a seed potatoes cutter that can perform seed potatoes posture adjustment,cutting,spraying and collection,which guarantees agronomic requirements.The cutter solution to the seed potatoes cutting link has problems such as high manual seasonal use,high production costs,high labor intensity,low production efficiency,variable quality of cut blocks,as well as the spread of viral and bacterial infections facilitated by irregular disinfection operations.The key components of the seed potatoes cutter,which is motor-driven to perform seed potatoes setting and cutting,mainly include the primary roller setting mechanism,secondary baffle conveying mechanism,cutting knife mechanism,spraying mechanism and collecting device.The primary research component are as follows:1.The physical characteristics of seed potatoes of two varieties,Forrest potato and Sisen potato 6,were analyzed.The physical parameters of seed potatoes such as friction angle,friction coefficient,moisture content,shear force,and other physical parameters were measured using instruments such as CNY-1 bevel meter,DGH-9140 A electric blast dryer,and DDL200 universal material testing machine.By analyzing the distribution pattern of sprout eyes on the surface of seed potatoes,it provides design basis for key components of potato seed potato cutting machine.2.The design and optimization of key components of seed potatoes cutter,such as conical table roller,cutting knife,baffle and collection device.Mechanical analysis and kinematic analysis of seed potatoes transport process;Determination of key factors influencing the effect of seed potatoes on attitude adjustment by discrete element simulation.When the taper of the roller bevel is 7°,the posture adjustment effect works better;Besides,the speed of the winding shaft of the primary roller setting mechanism and secondary baffle conveying mechanism are 20 r/min and 36 r/min respectively,the seed potatoes have better accessibility.3.Seed potatoes cutting performance experimentation.Taking cone table roller speed,the number of cone table rollers and cutting angle as the test factors,and the passing rate of cut potato and blind rate of potato block as the evaluation indexes.Meanwhile,the test was performed by single-factor analysis to determine the range of levels of each influencing factor.The orthogonal test was designed on the basis of single-factor analysis,and then the optimal combination of the cutter was determined in accordance with the results of extreme difference and analysis of variance.The optimal combination of the "one-shape" cutting knives is 12 r/min conical table roller speed,44 conical table rollers,0° cutting angle of cutting knives,the qualified rate of cutting potatoes can reach 90.3% and the blind rate of potato pieces can be reduced to 1.86%;The optimal combination of the "Y-shaped" cutting knife is 12 r/min conical table roller speed,44 conical table rollers,5° cutting angle of cutting knife,the qualified rate of potato cutting can reach 87.9% and the blind rate of potato block is 2.86%;The optimal combination of "cross-shaped" cutting knife is 14 r/min conical table roller speed,44 conical table rollers,0 ° cutting angle of cutting knife,the qualified rate of potato cutting can reach 87.1% and the blind rate of potato block can reach 3.80%.
