| With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization in China,a large number of rural residents work in cities, and the phenomenon of "hollowing out" in rural areas has intensified. The increase of rural household non-agricultural income leads to the lack of comparative advantages of intensive farming, which leads to a substantial decrease in the protection of rural cultivated land and an obvious decline in the enthusiasm of farmers to protect the quality of cultivated land.In order to reactivate idle land management rights, the state implemented the reform of separating the three rural land rights. As decision-makers and implementers of cultivated land quality protection, whether farmers’ cognition, protection intention and cognition of the separation of three rights can affect their cultivated land protection behavior remains to be further studied.Based on the survey data of 248 farmers in 6 townships(subdistricts)of Longquan City,Zhejiang Province, this study explored the impact of farmers’ perception of the separation of three rights on their cultivated land quality protection behavior from the micro level. The study found that the aging situation of agricultural personnel is serious, the basic quality is not high, planting by experience, the proportion of agricultural income is relatively low,the cognition of cultivated land quality protection is generally biased.Farmers’ cognition of the separation of three rights has a positive impact on their cultivated land quality protection behavior.Meanwhile, the age of farmers, the number of cultivated land owned by the family, the number of cultivated land under cultivation, the number of household farmers, the annual income of farmers are also significant factors influencing farmers’ cultivated land quality protection behavior.Based on the above conclusions, the following suggestions are summarized:(1)Innovate the publicity methods to improve the cognition level of farmers.(2)To find out the current situation of degradation and study targeted protection technology.(3)Statistics of idle arable land to master transferable land resources.(4)Attach importance to the industrial foundation and promote integrated development. |
