Analysis Of Influencing Factors Of Large-scale Tea Planting In Nyingchi City

Tea is the main economic crop in Linzhi City,with high added value.Planting tea has become one of the main sources of income increase for farmers in Linzhi City.With the continuous development of the economy,consumers are increasingly inclined to choose healthy beverages.Tea,a traditional and healthy drink,has once again given off its new brilliance due to its refreshing and lowering blood pressure effects.In recent years,the market demand for tea has been continuously increasing.In this process,consumers have gradually begun to pursue green and organic high-quality tea.The unique resources and environment of southeast Tibet such as water,air,and soil have provided prerequisites for the production of this green and organic high-quality tea in Tibet,and also provided new opportunities for the development of the tea industry in Tibet.However,the current level of tea planting technology and mechanization in Linzhi City is not high.How to improve the yield and quality of tea planting in Linzhi City,reduce the cost of tea planting,and achieve the optimization of large-scale planting under existing conditions,with a view to increasing the income of tea farmers inLinzhi City and driving the economic development of Linzhi City,is the primary issue that needs to be addressed urgently.This study takes tea farmers in Linzhi City as the research object,based on the theory of scale economy,transaction cost theory,and rational economic person theory,and around the theme of tea scale planting,designed the influencing factors that affect tea scale planting,and designed corresponding questionnaires.Questionnaire surveys were conducted and data were collected for tea farmers in the three counties and districts of Bomi,Motuo,and Chayu in Linzhi City,and 166 valid questionnaires were collected and assigned values,Using multiple linear regression models,identify the key factors affecting the scale of tea farming.Based on interviews with relevantlocal department heads,countermeasures and suggestions were proposed to improve the scale of tea planting among tea farmers in Linzhi City,with a view to achieving long-term good development of the tea industry in Linzhi City and increasing the income of tea farmers.The empirical results show that:(1)Eight factors,including the cultural level of tea farmers,the number of family labor,planting preferences,tea planting techniques of tea farmers,tea production techniques of tea farmers,market prospect prediction,terrain suitability,and mechanization level,have a significant positive impact on the scale of tea planting by tea farmers.The above results indicate that continuously strengthening the scientific and technological investment in tea planting in Linzhi City and the skill training for tea farmers can effectively promote the development of large-scale tea planting in Linzhi City and increase the income of tea farmers.(2)The age of tea farmers,tea planting time,government policy support,loan convenience,and tea garden circulation convenience of tea farmers have a significant negative impact on the scale of tea planting.It is concluded that strengthening the introduction of talents,ensuring the rationality of policies,and standardizing the circulation system of tea gardens are urgent issues to be resolved in the development of large-scale tea cultivation in Linzhi City.(3)Seven factors,namely,tea farmers’ social skills,whether to cooperate with tea enterprises,whether to join a professional tea cooperative,the ability to obtain market information,the convenience of employing workers,the stability of customer relationships,and the acceptability of tea garden circulation prices,did not have a significant impact on the scale of tea planting by tea farmers.The following recommendations were made:(1)Strengthen the supply of tea labor and skills training for tea farmers to provide necessary support for the production process of tea.(2)Strengthen investment in tea science and technology to provide scientific and technological support for large-scale cultivation of tea.(3)Build a complete tea market information platform to enable tea farmers to timely grasp tea market information and make correct and reasonable judgments on the tea market.(4)Strengthen the construction of professional tea cooperatives and the driving capacity of tea enterprises,and provide effective assistance to tea farmers in the management process of tea gardens.(5)Establish a standardized and reasonable tea garden circulation system to promote the rationalization of tea garden circulation.
