Objective: The aim of the study is to investigate the association between preoperative Computed Tomography Angiography(CTA)characteristics of abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)and iliac limb occlusion after endovascular aortic repair(EVAR).Methods: The preoperative CTA characteristics and clinical data of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm who underwent EVAR in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2018 were collected. The iliac artery occlusion group and non-occlusion group were matched by the ratio of 1: 3 according to gender and age.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the association between CTA characteristics of abdominal aortic aneurysm and iliac limb occlusion after EVAR.Results: A total of 140 patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm underwent EVAR,and11 patients developed iliac stent occlusion.Multivariate analysis showed that preoperative iliac artery tortuosity ≥ 60°(P=0.01),iliac artery calcified stenosis ≥ 50%(P = 0.02)were independent risk factors for iliac limb occlusion after EVAR in AAA patients. Conclusion:Preoperative CTA images are helpful to identify high-risk patients with iliac limb occlusion after EVAR.According to CTA characteristics, strict operation planning and appropriate preventive measures are helpful to avoid or reduce the risk of iliac limb occlusion after EVAR.
