| Objective:To understand the status quo health literacy, illness perception and self-management behavior in patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea-hypopnea Syndrome(OSAHS)and their differences in general demographic characteristics; To explore the correlation between health literacy, illness perception and self-management behavior in patients with OSAHS.To analyze and explore the influencing factor of self-management behavior of OSAHS patients. To provide suggestions for impr-oving the self-management behavior of patients with OSAHS,and to provide th-eoretical reference for future research. Methods:This study adopts the method of cross-sectional survey.A total of 288 OSAHS outpatients diagnosed by polysomnography in three Grade 3A hospitals in Shandong Province from April to November 2021,were investigated by convenient sampling. The survey was conducted with general population data questionnaire, health nutrition scale for patients with chronic diseases, the Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire and self-management behavior scale for OSAHS patients.SPSS26.O was used for statistical analysis, mainly descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test,single factor ANOVA analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.Result:(1)The average score of healthy literacy was(105.38 ± 11.37)(full score 120).Among the 288 subjects studied, there were 60 patients without health care, accounting for 21% of the total population. There were significant differences in sex, age, smoking history, medical insurance, place of residence, monthly family income and snoring years(P<0.05).(2)The average total score of illness perception was(47.18 ± 13.21)(full score80).There were significant differences in age, body mass index(BMI),smoking history, drinking history, medical insurance, complications and snoring years(P <0.05).(3)The average score of self-management was(69.95 ± 15.96)(full score 105).Within the level of self-management,At the general level, there were 90 cases, accounting for 31%;A total of 135 cases at the intermediate level, accounting for47%;63 cases were in good level, accounting for 22%.There were significant differences in gender, body mass index(BMI),education level, smoking history, drinking history, snoring years and marital status.(4)There is a negative correlation between health literacy and illness perception.(r=-0.286,P < 0.01);Health literacy is positively related to self-management behavior.(r=0.499,P<0.01);Self-management behavior is negatively related to illness perception.(r=-0.409,P<0.01).(5)The influencing factors of self-management behavior were health literacy, illness perception, history of smoking and drinking, snoring years(10 ~).The degree of variation of common explanation is 55.8%.Conclusion:(1)The number of OSAHS patients who are not well-prepared for health literacy accounts for 1/5.The score of illness perception is in the middle level. The score of self-management behavior is in the lower-middle level.(2)The higher the level of health literacy of OSAHS patients, the lower the perception of negative disease; The higher the level of health literacy, the higher the self-management behavior. The higher the perception of negative disease, the lower the self-management behavior.(3)The main influencing factors of self-management behavior of OSAHS patients were health literacy, illness perception, history of smoking and drinking, and years of snoring(10 ~). |
