Clinical Observation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With Walnut Shell Glasses Moxibustion In The Treatment Of As With Anterior Uveitis

Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine combined with walnut shell glasses moxibustion in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis with anterior uveitis.Methods:40 Patients(40 eyes)with as complicated with anterior uveitis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.20 Cases(20 eyes)in the control group were treated with topical application of glucocorticoid,non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and mydriasis.Patients with severe iris adhesion and were treated with subconjunctival injection of mydriasis mixture;20 cases(20 eyes)in the treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with walnut shell glasses moxibustion on the basis of the control group.The visual acuity,ocular inflammation,TCM syndrome score,CRP(C-reactive protein)and ESR(erythrocyte sedimentation rate)of the two groups before and 3,7 and 14 days after treatment were compared and analyzed.Results:The treatment group was better than the control group in terms of visual acuity,ocular inflammation,inflammation dissipation time,CRP and ESR level,and the curative effect comparison between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was 100% and that in the control group was 90%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine combined with walnut shell glasses moxibustion has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of as with anterior uveitis without obvious adverse reactions.It can effectively reduce the symptoms of patients,improve the eye conditions and TCM symptoms of patients,effectively control the inflammation in the early stage,shorten the course of disease and improve the treatment effect.
