Objevtive: To compare the effects and safety of drinking water at different times in patients with transnasal sphenohypophysioma early after surgery, and to explore the best method to improve oral comfort and promote gastrointestinal function recovery under the concept of accelerating rehabilitation, and to provide a new idea for the formation of specific, safe and practical early postoperative drinking program. Methods: A total of 75 patients who received transnasal sphenoidal pituitary tumor from the Neurosurgery Department of XX Hospital from May 2019 to December 2021 were selected.Subjects were randomly divided into three groups, with 25 patients in each group.Patients in Group A were given the early drinking water regimen with Steward score reached 6 points, patients in Group B were given the early drinking water regimen at an interval of 1 hour after Steward score reached6 points, and patients in Group C were given the early drinking water regimen 4hours after surgery. To investigate the oral comfort, gastrointestinal function recovery and safety of patients in the three groups.Collect relevant research indicators for statistical analysis.mean, standard deviation, composition ratio, frequency number Were used for statistical description.one-way ANOVA,χ~2 tes,Kruskal-Wallis test, bonferroni correction test were used fo rstatistical methods.the test level α=0.05,P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.Results:1.The subjects in the three groups were statistically analyzed for gender, age, operative blood loss, actual preoperative duration, operative duration, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, postoperative diabetes insipidus, etc. The results showed that there was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05)and they were comparable.2.Gastrointestinal function recovery:(1)There were statistical differences in the normal time of intestinal noise and the first exhaust time among the three groups(P<0.05).The pairwise comparison showed that the normal time of intestinal noise in group A and group B,group B and group C,and group C and group A had statistical differences(P<0.05).In terms of the first exhaust time, there was statistical difference between group A and group B,group B and group C,and group C and group A(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the time of first defecation among the three groups(P>0 0.05).3.Oral comfort:(1)Thirst degree: there was A statistical difference among the three groups(P<0.05).The pairwise comparison showed that there was A statistical difference between group A and group C,and between group B and group C(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between group A and group B(P> 0.05).(2)Oral p H value: there was A statistical difference between the three groups(P<0.05).Pair comparison showed that there was A statistical difference between group A and group C,group B and group C(P<0.05),while there was no significant statistical difference between group A and group B(P> 0.05).(3)In terms of bad breath, there was A statistical difference between the three groups(P<0.05).The pairwise comparison showed that there was A statistical difference between group A and group C,group B and group C(P<0.05),while there was no significant statistical difference between group A and group B(P > 0.05).(4)Sore throat: there was statistical difference between the three groups(P<0.05).After pairwise comparison, there were statistically significant differences between group A and group C and between group B and group C(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between group A and group B(P> 0.05).4.Complications: this study has not occurred pulmonary infection, aspiration, choking cough,Ⅲ magnitude complications such as nausea and vomiting, and nausea and vomiting incidence degree and the three groups of patients more were no statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions : For patients with transnasal sphenoid pituitary adenoma, early postoperative drinking water is very necessary.Early drinking water can relieve thirst and throat pain, improve bad breath, increase oral comfort, promote gastrointestinal peristalsis.Water solution through this study, the three group were safe and reliable, the Steward score reached 6 points, postoperatively in patients with stable patients living body signs, nausea and vomiting score below level Ⅳ began drinking water scheme works best.
