Objective:To explore the distribution characteristics of the six channels of evidence of Isolated Systolic Hypertension(ISH)in the elderly through clinical observation and identification of the six channels of evidence, and to explore the correlation between general data(age, sex, season of attack)and the six channels of evidence of Isolated Systolic Hypertension(ISH)in the elderly,These are aimed at providing a referable pathway for clinical application of the six channels of identification for TCM identification and typing of simple systolic hypertension(ISH)of the elderly.Method:General data(including gender, age, and time of admission),as well as clinical data(complaints, medical history, and information of the four examinations),were collected from 246 elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension who met the inclusion criteria, and the six channels of evidence were identified according to clinical symptoms.Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS statistical software to study the characteristics of the distribution of the six channels of evidence in simple systolic hypertension in the elderly, and to explore the relationship between each channel of the six channels and gender, age, and attack seasons.Results:1、Statistically,the 246 elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension(ISH)had the highest frequency of each channel evidence of Shaoyang disease, followed by Taiyang disease and the lowest frequency of Shaoyin disease.2、Among the 246 patients, secondary syndromes were the most common, followed by single syndromes, tertiary syndromes were less common, and no syndromes of the fourth channel or above were seen;among the single syndromes,Shaoyang syndromes were the most common, followed by Taiyang syndromes;among the secondary syndromes,Taiyang-Shaoyang syndromes were the most frequent, followed by Shaoyang-Yangming syndromes;among the tertiary syndromes,Taiyang-Shaoyang-Yangming syndromes were the most frequent.3 、 According to the chi-square test, there were differences in Yang Ming disease evidence and Tai Yin disease in elderly patients with simple systolic hypertension in different age groups;Tai Yin disease in elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension in different sexes;and Turbulent Yin disease and Sun disease in elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension in different seasons of attack.4.、Among the 246 patients, the frequency of symptoms from highest to lowest were chest distension(43.1%),dizziness of the head and eyes(35.4%),dry mouth and throat and thirst(20.0%),irritability(17.1%),and headache(14.2%),with the head, face, and chest as the main symptoms, and the disease location was upper.Conclusions:1、Six channels of identification are a feasible method for the diagnosis and treatment of isolated systolic hypertension(ISH)in the elderly.2、With the increase of age,the incidence of Taiyin disease in elderly patients with simple systolic hypertension gradually increased and was more common in women, while Yangming disease was the opposite.3、In spring,Taiyang disease and Jueyin disease are common in elderly patients with simple systolic hypertension, and Taiyang disease is common in autumn.
