Clinical Effect Of Anshendingji Recipe On Patients With Atrial Fibrillation After Catheter Ablation

Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment of patients with deficiency of the heart and spleen and internal disturbance of phlegm after catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation with the Anshendingji recipe,and research its clinical practice implications,which will provide a clinical basis for the promotion and application of catheter ablation of Atrial Fibrillation in Chinese medicine field.Methods:In this study,based on the randomized controlled trial method,we chose 70 patients who were treated with catheter ablation of Atrial Fibrillation within 3days.Those patients were randomly divided into observation group(conventional drug +Anshendingji recipe)and control group(conventional drug).Each of group has 35 cases.Moreover,we collected the basic information materials,general conditions,efficacy indicators(Chinese-medical-symptom score scale,SF-36 scale,ambulatory electrocardiogram,cardiac ultrasound,cardiopulmonary function indicators,HAMA,HAMD)of the patients who within the pre-treatment(within 3 days after surgery)and post-treatment(12 weeks after surgery)respectively.Additionally,we recorded the adverse reactions and adverse events that occurred during the study.At last,the efficacy was observed by comparing the changes in the data of both groups,and the data obtained were statistically analyzed by using SPSS 22.0 software.Results:1.The final valid statistics of this study were 64 cases,including 31 cases in the observation group and 33 cases in the control group,with an overall shedding rate of 8.57%.2.Baseline comparison:Before the start of the study,the basic conditions of patients in both groups,such as gender,age,type of Atrial Fibrillation,concomitant underlying disease and CAAP-AF score,were tested and the differences were not statistically significant(P >0.05).3.Efficacy:In terms of the Chinese-medical-symptom score scale,episodes of atrial arrhythmia lasting more than 30 s,LAD size aspect,Peak Metabolic Equivalents(Peak METs),Quality of life aspects:SF-36 scale,HAMA and HAMD scores,were not statistically significantbetween both groups before the intervention(P>0.05),while the differences within the group before and after the intervention were statistically significant(P<0.05).Additionally,the improvement of the Chinese-medical-symptom score and the improvement of the percentage of 24-hour atrial arrhythmia after the intervention were better than those in the control group,which were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Safety:In this study,there were no adverse reactions and adverse events in the two groups.Conclusions:1.Anshendingji recipe is effective in improving the Chinese-medical-symptom score and LAD size in patients after Atrial Fibrillation catheter ablation,and has an intervention effect on recurrent atrial arrhythmic events after surgery.In turn,it improves patients’ cardiopulmonary function,also improve quality of life,then relieves anxiety and depression.2.Anshendingji recipe is a safe herbal prescription when applied to patients after catheter ablation of Atrial Fibrillation.
