Objective:To explore the clinical value of Buyang Huanwu Decoction in early application of CSDH by observing the effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction on patients with Qi Deficiency and blood stasis after chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH)drainage.Methods:Sixty-eight patients with Qi Deficiency and blood stasis type after CSDH drilling and drainage who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group.Yang Huanwu Decoction treatment, the course of treatment is 8 weeks.Buyang Huanwu Decoction is a traditional Chinese medicine decoction, which is preserved in vacuum plastic packaging and provided by the Chinese Pharmacy of the People’s Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Clinical data such as age, gender, and course of disease were collected. The postoperative residual hematoma volume in the two groups was observed and compared, and the activity of daily living(ADL)score and TCM symptom score were evaluated 8 weeks after surgery. To explore the effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction on postoperative residual hematoma volume, postoperative activity of daily living scores and TCM symptom scores in patients with Qi Deficiency and blood stasis type after CSDH drilling and drainage.SPSS 23.0 statistical software was used for data analysis and processing.Result:1.A total of 68 patients were included in this subject, including 64 patients who completed the study,1 patient in the control group because they did not take the medicine as prescribed by the doctor,1 patient in the experimental group because they refused to continue taking traditional Chinese medicine, and 1 patient in the experimental group because they refused to continue taking traditional Chinese medicine.Dropouts due to recurrence of surgery were treated as invalid dropouts and were not included in the statistics.2.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in general data between the control group and the experimental group(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.Before treatment and on the first day after operation, there was no significant difference in the amount of hematoma between the control group and the experimental group(P>0.05).After 4 weeks and 8 weeks after the operation, the residual hematoma volume in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P>0.05),the difference was statistically significant.4.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the control group and the experimental group(P<0.01).The intra-group comparison showed that the TCM symptom score after treatment was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).5.Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the ADL score between the control group and the experimental group(P<0.01).The intra-group comparison showed that the ADL score after treatment was higher than the TCM symptom score before treatment(P<0.05).6.During the clinical observation process, all patients’ safety observation indicators were not abnormal, and no obvious adverse drug reactions were found during the treatment. Conclusion:Early application of Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with atorvastatin in patients with Qi Deficiency and blood stasis after CSDH drilling and drainage can significantly reduce the postoperative residual hematoma, improve the quality of life and improve the prognosis. And taking Buyang Huanwu Decoction has no obvious adverse reactions in a short period of time, the safety is good, and it can be used as one of the clinical treatment methods.
