| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of cross electro-nape-acupuncture(CENA)in the treatment of consciousness after severe cerebral hemorrhage, explore the effectiveness of cross electro-nape-acupuncture in the treatment of consciousness after severe cerebral hemorrhage, and provide innovative methods and reliable experimental research for the treatment of consciousness after severe cerebral hemorrhage. Methods:The 64 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group(CENA group)and control group(ordinary acupuncture group)according to the random number table method, with 32 patients in each group. Both groups’ patients were given for brain awaking treatment(Xing nao jing),rehabilitation treatment, respiratory and daily nursing care, and individualized symptomatic therapy such as antihypertensive therapy,lipid-lowering therapy, hypoglycemic therapy,anti-inflammatory therapy, and sputum reduction therapy. On the basis of the control group(ordinary acupuncture group),the patients in the treatment group(CENA group)were crossed the Yifeng(TE17)and Fengchi(GB20)points on both sides, which means, the positive side of one electrode wire was connected to the left Yifeng(TE17)acupoint,and the negative side was connected to the right Fengchi(GB20)point;Besides,the positive side of another electrode is connected to the right Yifeng(TE17)point,and the negative side is connected to the left Fengchi(GB20)point.The waveform of the acupuncture treatment instrument is continuous wave, the frequency is set to 1.5 Hz,and the current intensity is adjusted to scale 6.which should be adjusted according to the general state of the patient. After 30 minutes of treatment, the acupuncture needles were removed.Acupuncture is given once a week on Sunday and twice a day from Monday to Saturday for a total of 4 weeks of treatment. The GCS score,CRS-R score,MMN latency and MMN amplitude of the two groups were compared before and after treatment to evaluate their clinical wake-up effect, and the NIHSS score of the two groups before and after treatment were compared to evaluate the protective effect of neurological function.Results:1.The cross electro-nape-acupuncture group and the ordinary acupuncture group were compared with the intra-group scale scores after treatment and before treatment, and the GCS scores and CRS-R scores of the experimental subjects in the two groups were increased(P<0.05),the MMN latency was shortened(P<0.05),the MMN amplitude was increased(P<0.05),and the NIHSS score was reduced(P<0.05),and the differences between the scales in the two groups were statistically significant.2.Comparison of scale scores between the cross electro-nape-acupuncture group and the ordinary acupuncture group after treatment between the two groups,The GCS score and CRS-R score increased(P<0.05),the MMN latency period(P<0.05),the MMN amplitude increased(P<0.05),and the NIHSS score decreased(P<0.05)after treatment in the two groups, and the differences between the scales were statistically significant after treatment. The efficacy and cure rates of the cross electro-nape-acupuncture group were80%,and the efficacy and cure rates of the ordinary acupuncture group were 30%,and the effect and cure of the cross electro-nape-acupuncture group were significantly better than those in the ordinary acupuncture group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both the cross electro-nape-acupuncture group and the ordinary acupuncture group had a pro-awakening effect in patients with impaired consciousness after severe cerebral hemorrhage, and can promote the recovery of nerve function in patients.2.The cross electro-nape-acupuncture therapy has a better effect on awakening and recovery of nerve function in patients with impaired consciousness after severe cerebral hemorrhage, clinical efficacy is better than that of ordinary acupuncture treatment. |
