Objective: By investigating the mental health status of residents in Wuhan,Jingmen and Jiaozuo,the author compared the mental health status of residents in the three places,observed whether there was any difference in the mental health status of residents in the three places,and analyzed the influencing factors of the difference,so as to provide some reference for psychological intervention and social support in the next step.Method: In April 2020,December 2020 and August 2021,residents in Wuhan,Jingmen and Jiaozuo were evaluated by PHQ-9 depression screening scale,GAD-7 anxiety screening scale and AIS assens insomnia screening scale through online questionnaire.To analyze and compare the differences and influencing factors of mental health status of residents in the three places.Result: A total of 3041 questionnaires were collected in this study,and 2797 valid questionnaires(91.98%)were collected after excluding invalid and blank answers,including944 from Wuhan,939 from Jingmen and 914 from Jiaozuo.1.In April 2020,the detection rate of psychological problems of residents in the three locations was Wuhan > Jingmen > Jiaozuo.A total of 947 people were investigated,including 329 in Wuhan,313 in Jingmen and 305 in Jiaozuo.215 patients were diagnosed with depression,including 127(38.6%)from Wuhan,50(16.0%)from Jingmen and 38(12.5%)from Jiaozuo.198 people were anxious,including110(33.4%)from Wuhan,54(17.3%)from Jingmen and 34(11.1%)from Jiaozuo.Insomnia 242 people,including wuhan 127(38.6%),Jingmen 73(23.3%),Jiaozuo42(13.8%);There were 244 COVID-19 patients or close contacts,including 99 in Wuhan(30.1%),84 in Jingmen(26.8%)and 61 in Jiaozuo(20.0%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).2.In December 2020,the detection rate of psychological problems of residents in the three locations was Wuhan > Jingmen > Jiaozuo.A total of 926 people were investigated,including 299 in Wuhan,326 in Jingmen and 301 in Jiaozuo.181 patients were diagnosed with depression,including 72(24.1%)from Wuhan,62(19.0%)from Jingmen and 47(15.6%)from Jiaozuo.193 people were anxious,including90(30.1%)in Wuhan,59(18.1%)in Jingmen and 44(14.6%)in Jiaozuo.220 people suffered from insomnia,including 94 in Wuhan(31.4%),71 in Jingmen(21.8%)and 55 in Jiaozuo(18.3%).There were 135 COVID-19 patients or close contacts,including 67(22.4%)in Wuhan,43(13.2%)in Jingmen,and 25(8.3%)in Jiaozuo,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).3.In August 2021,the detection rate of psychological problems of residents in the three locations was Jingmen > Wuhan > Jiaozuo.A total of 924 people were investigated,including 316 in Wuhan,300 in Jingmen and 308 in Jiaozuo.198 patients were diagnosed with depression,including 61(19.3%)from Wuhan,88(29.3%)from Jingmen and 49(15.9%)from Jiaozuo.185 people were anxious,including60(19.0%)from Wuhan,82(27.3%)from Jingmen and 43(14.0%)from Jiaozuo.191 patients suffered from insomnia,including 55(17.4%)from Wuhan,86(28.7%)from Jingmen and 50(16.2%)from Jiaozuo.There were 158 COVID-19 patients or close contacts,including 55(17.4%)in Wuhan,68(22.7%)in Jingmen,and 35(11.4%)in Jiaozuo,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).4.People who have COVID-19 or are closely connected are more likely to have psychological problems than those who are not.After adjusting for sex and age,compared with non-COVID-19 patients or unconnected people,COVID-19 patients OR close contacts significantly increased the risk of depression(P<0.05,OR=8.23,95%CI:4.30-37.42),anxiety(P<0.05,OR=14.91,95%CI:6.30-36.33)and insomnia(P<0.05,OR=12.71,95%CI:9.03-32.04).5.The mental health of the population is a result of a combination of factors.After adjusting for gender and age,compared with unmarried people,divorced people significantly reduced the risk of depression(P<0.05,OR=0.43,95%CI:0.19-0.94)and anxiety(P<0.05,OR=0.37,95%CI:0.15-0.89).In terms of education level,compared with those in high school or below,Postgraduates with higher education could significantly reduce the risk of depression(P<0.05,OR=0.42,95%CI:0.27-0.63),anxiety(P<0.05,OR=0.35,95%CI:0.22-0.56),insomnia(P<0.05,OR = 0.28,95% CI: 0.18 0.45).Conclusion:1.The more severe the epidemic,the higher the incidence of psychological problems among residents.2.The occurrence of psychological problems is closely related to COVID-19 patients or close contacts.3.The protective factors of depression and anxiety included: divorced persons in marital status and those with higher education level or above;The protective factors of insomnia were those with higher education level and above.
