Objective:To investigate the status quo of occupational stress, resilience and depression in CDC staff, and to analyze the influence of general demographic, occupational stress and mental resilience on depression in CDC staff. The structural equation model was established to explore the influencing factors and action paths of depression in CDC staff, and to test the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between occupational stress and depression in CDC staff. It provides theoretical basis for the formulation of mental health intervention measures for CDC staff.Methods:1.From December 2020 to April 2021,a total of 3899 staff from Hebei CDC,13 municipal CDC and 41 county-level CDC were selected by stratified cluster sampling method.A total of 3688 questionnaires were collected,of which 3514 were effective, and the effective rate was 90.13%.2.T test and one-way ANOVA were used to compare the scores of occupational stress and mental resilience among CDC staff with different Demographic characteristics.χ~2 test was used to compare the difference of occupational stress positive rate and depression positive rate among CDC staff with different Demographic characteristics.Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation between occupational stress, resilience and depression in CDC staff.Stratified regression analysis was used to determine the influencing factors and intensity of depression among CDC personnel.AMOS22.0 software was used to construct structural equation model to verify the mediating effect of resilience on occupational stress and depression.Results:1.The positive rate of occupational stress was 34.29%,the resilience score was(66.28±15.32),and the positive rate of depression was48.57%;2.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was statistical significance in the positive rate of occupational stress among different gender, age, education background, marital status, administrative position, weekly exercise frequency, chronic disease and participation in epidemic treatment(P<0.05).There was statistical significance in the positive rate of occupational stress among different gender, age, education background, marital status, administrative position, weekly exercise frequency, chronic disease and participation in epidemic treatment(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in depression positive rates among different gender, age, educational background, marital status, personal monthly income, weekly exercise frequency, chronic disease and participation in epidemic treatment(P<0.05);3.There was a negative correlation between occupational stress and resilience(r=0.165,P<0.01).Resilience was negatively correlated with depression(r=0.383,P<0.01).occupational stress was positively correlated with depression(r=0.343,P<0.01);4.occupational stress was a risk factor for depression(β=0.226,P<0.01),and resilience was a protective factor for depression(β=-0.269,P<0.01).Resilience played a partial mediating role between occupational stress and depression;5.The structural equation of partial mediating effect between resilience and occupational stress and depression was established, and the partial mediating effect was 0.039,accounting for 10.46%of the total effect. Conclusion:The mental health of CDC staff is not optimistic.occupational stress and resilience are important influencing factors of depression, and resilience has a partial mediating effect on the impact of occupational stress on depression.occupational stress has a direct effect on depression, but also has an indirect effect on depression through resilience.Necessary intervention and management measures should be taken to reduce the occupational stress of CDC staff, improve their resilience, and help to reduce the risk of depression.
