Objective: In this study, the clinical safety and feasibility of reduced-port(three-port)laparoscopic radical gastrectomy were explored by comparing the clinicopathological data of patients undergoing reduced-port laparoscopic radical gastrectomy with Conventional laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. Methods: The clinical data of patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy in gastrointestinal Surgery Department of Affiliated Hospital of Qing Hai University from June 2017 to June 2020 were retrospectively collected using a non-matched case-control study method.160 patients who met the research criteria were included in this study, including 126 males and 34 females. The average age was 57.According to different operation methods,80 patients were divided into conventional operation group and 80 patients were divided into reduced-port operation group. The operation, postoperative recovery and postoperative complications of the two groups were retrospectively analyzed. Results: There were no significant differences in baseline data(gender, age, body mass index, tumor site,ASA score,cTNM stage and Surgical modalities)between the reduced-port group and the conventional group(P > 0.05).There were no significant differences in operative time, intraoperative blood loss, number of lymph nodes and distal resection margin between the reduced-port group and the conventional group(P > 0.05).The time to get out of bed after the first operation, the time to ventilate after the first operation, and the time to restore the total fluid diet after the operation had statistical significance in VAS score on the 1st,3rd and5 th days after the operation, white blood cell count on the 1st postoperative day, neutrophil count and procalcitonin on the 1st postoperative day(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in removal time of abdominal drainage tube, postoperative hospitalization days, lymphocytes, albumin, platelets, hemoglobin, total bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase and C-reactive protein(P > 0.05).Conclusion: For teams with rich experience in Conventional laparoscopic radical gastrectomy,reduced-port laparoscopic radical gastrectomy is a safe, feasible and effective treatment method. It has advantages in postoperative recovery, pain relief and cosmetic effect.
