| Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Shenbi decoction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH)of liver and kidney deficiency by modern clinical randomized controlled trial.Methods: According to the method of randomized controlled experiment,the information of patients meeting the clinical diagnosis of liver and kidney deficiency syndrome of lumbar disc herniation was collected,and 60 LDH cases were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.The control group was treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(etodoric acid sustained release tablets),and the observation group was treated with Shenbi Decoction.2weeks as a course of treatment,continuous treatment for 4 weeks.VAS pain and numbness scores,modified ODI scores,JOA scores and TCM syndrome scores were evaluated before treatment,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment,respectively.Statistical software was used for analysis and processing,and the therapeutic effects of the two groups in each course of treatment were compared.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment,the VAS pain and numbness scores,modified ODI scores,JOA scores and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were all improved.(2)The VAS pain score of the control group(2.17±1.02)was better than that of the observation group(3.10±1.27)at 2 weeks after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.003).There was no difference between the two groups at 4 weeks after treatment(P=0.092).After 2 weeks of treatment,there was no difference in VAS numbness score between the two groups(P=0.070).After 4 weeks of treatment,the VAS numbness score in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P=0.022).(3)There was significant difference in modified ODI score between the two groups at2 weeks of treatment(P=0.045),but there was no significant difference in JOA score between the two groups at 4 weeks of treatment(P > 0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,there was no difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P=0.204).After 4 weeks of treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the observation group was significantly improved than that of the control group,and the result was statistically significant(P=0.037).Conclusion: The traditional Chinese medicine Shenbi decoction has a clear therapeutic effect on LDH of liver and kidney deficiency,with few adverse effects,and has obvious advantages in relieving the symptoms of lower limb numbness and improving TCM syndromes. |
