Clinical Observation For The Treatment Of Proximal Humeral Fractures In Children By Two Different Methods Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of closed reduction and open reduction and Kirschner wire internal fixation combined with Huoxue Zhitong Powder fumigation and washing in the treatment of proximal humeral fractures in children,the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods were compared,so as to provide more reference for clinical treatment of proximal humeral fractures in children.Methods:In this study,60 children with proximal humeral fractures diagnosed and treated from October 2020 to December 2022 were selected from the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group and treatment group,30 cases in each group.The patients in the treatment group were treated with closed reduction and Kirschner wire internal fixation,while the patients in the control group were treated with open reduction and Kirschner wire internal fixation.Both groups were treated with Huoxue Zhitong Powder combined with shoulder joint function exercise after removing external fixation.After three months of follow-up,the clinical healing time,complications and family satisfaction of the patients were observed and recorded.The Constant-Murley score of shoulder joint was used to evaluate the shoulder joint function after needle extraction and three months after operation.SPSS was used for statistical analysis to summarize the therapeutic effect of the two groups.Results:The P values of the two groups of children in the clinical healing time of fracture,the occurrence of complications,the score of shoulder joint function after needle extraction and the satisfaction of family members were all<0.05,which was statistically significant.The treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.There was no significant difference in shoulder function score between the two groups at 3 months after operation(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with open reduction and Kirschner wire internal fixation,closed reduction and Kirschner wire internal fixation for proximal humeral fractures in children has less damage to children,lower incidence of complications,faster clinical healing time of fractures,and shorter recovery time of shoulder joint after operation.It is worthy of clinical application.
