Clinical Observation Of "He Shu Massage" To Treat The Irritable Bowel Syndrome With Predominant Diarrhea (Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of "Heshu Massage" in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with predominant diarrhea(liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome).Methods: A total of 60 patients with predominant diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome(liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome)who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group with 30 cases each.The observation group was treated with "Heshu Massage",while the control group was treated with conventional massage.Both groups were treated once a day for 6 consecutive days,which was one course of treatment and one day’s rest,a total of 2 courses.Observe the single integral of TCM,total integral of syndrome,score of irritable bowel syndrome symptom severity scale before and after treatment of the two groups of patients,as well as the clinical efficacy of each group after treatment,and make statistical analysis of the observation results.SPSS21.0 was selected for statistical analysis of the above observation results.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender,age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Comparison of TCM symptom score and total score:(1)Intra-group comparison: after treatment,the single symptom score and total syndrome score of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Comparison between groups: The observation group was superior to the control group in improving stool characteristics,abdominal pain,bilateral flank fullness,anorexia and total score of syndromes,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);In terms of improving stool frequency,irritability and fatigue,the two groups had the same effect,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.Comparison of clinical effects of TCM syndromes: in the observation group,4 cases were clinically cured,12 cases were significantly effective,10 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective,with the total effective rate of 86.6%.Among the 30 cases in the control group,2 cases were clinically cured,5 cases were markedly effective,16 cases were effective,and 7 cases were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 76.7%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant P<0.05(Z=-2.133).It shows that the clinical effect of the observation group is better than that of the control group.4.IBS symptom severity score(IBS-SSS): After treatment,the scores of patients in the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the improvement of IBS-SSS score in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion(s): "Heshu Massage" has certain advantages in improving the clinical symptoms of patients,improving the curative effect,and reducing the severity of the disease in the treatment of predominant diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome(liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome),and has high safety,which is worthy of promotion and application.
