Retrospective Analysis Of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction Combined With Taohong Siwu Decoction In Treating Essential Hypertension (Phlegm-Stasis Interjunction Syndrome)

Objective: To retrospectively analyze the medical records of patients with hypertension syndrome of phlegm-stasis interjunction,and to summarize the efficacy and safety of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction combined with Taohong Siwu decoction in the treatment of essential hypertension(syndrome of phlegm-stasis interjunction).Methods: The medical records of hypertensive patients in the outpatient clinic of the Department of Cardiology,Rui Kang Hospital,Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine,from January 1,2020 to December 31,2022 were retrospectively screened through the outpatient His system of Rui Kang Hospital,Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine.100 cases were finally selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria formulated in this study,and were treated according to whether or not they were taking the formula of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction combined with Taohong Siwu decoction plus and minus They were divided into 50 cases in the treatment group and 50 cases in the control group.The general data,blood pressure,24 h ambulatory blood pressure,TCM syndrome score,blood lipid level,inflammatory factors,adverse reactions and other related indexes were recorded in Excel sheet.spss20.0 software was used for statistical analysis to summarize the efficacy and safety of the treatment of essential hypertension with the formula of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction combined with Taohong Siwu decoction.Results:1.In terms of improving the patients’ TCM syndromes: after treatment,the TCM syndromes of the main symptoms and secondary symptoms decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment(P< 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group in terms of improving the TCM syndromes of the main and secondary symptoms(P <0.05).In terms of the efficacy of TCM symptoms,the total effective rate of TCM symptoms points was 96% in the treatment group and 78% in the control group,with the treatment group outperforming the control group(P <0.05).2.Blood pressure efficacy: After treatment,the systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels of patients in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the degree of decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The effective rate of blood pressure was 90% in the treatment group and 70% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Ambulatory blood pressure efficacy: After treatment,the 24 h mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure,daytime systolic blood pressure and daytime diastolic blood pressure,nighttime systolic blood pressure and nighttime diastolic blood pressure levels in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the degree of decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Lipid efficacy: After treatment,TC and LDL-C decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).TG and HDL-C did not improve significantly compared with those before treatment.(P>0.05).5.Inflammatory index efficacy: After treatment,the CRP level decreased in both groups compared with before(P<0.05),and the decrease in CRP in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group.(P<0.05)6.In terms of safety,there was no statistical significance in blood routine,liver and kidney function indexes between 2 groups compared with before treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction combined with Taohong Siwu Decoction can reduce the blood pressure level of patients with essential hypertension(phlegm-stasis interjunction syndrome),and can effectively improve patients’ clinical symptoms,improve the TCM syndrome score and reduce TC,LDL-C and CRP levels,with definite clinical efficacy and good safety.
