| Sexual transmission is currently the main route of HIV transmission in China, and the number of HIV(human immunodeficiency virus)infections in China continues to increase, especially among men who have sex with men(MSM).The new drugs abuse rate among MSM in China remains high, involving with sexual violence experiences, sexually explicit media(SEM)exposure and sexual risk behavior. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of sexual violence, pornographic media use,and risky sexual behaviors among HIV-positive MSM with new drugs abuse(HMNDA)and related factors, and to explore the associations between sexual violence, sexually explicit media exposure, and sexual risk behavior. In this study,a cross-sectional design with sequential sampling was adopted to collect the sexual violence experiences,SEM exposure and sexual risk behavior data of 453 HMNDA with a face-to-face survey in S District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in J city,China. The multiple linear regression was conducted to investigate the correlation factors among sexual violence experiences,SEM consumption and sexual risk behavior, and their relationships were further discussed. Results showed that 91.2% of the respondents had homosexual orientation. The average time from HIV positive diagnosis to this survey was(35±25)months.The average age was(33.2±7.7)years.81.9% were unmarried, divorced or widowed;61.8% of them had urban household registration;45.0% were civil servants or private employees;35.1% reported having other chronic diseases besides HIV;78.4% of the patients had normal results in the last physical examination. All the subjects reported using new type drugs, with Rush(93.8%),methamphetamine(19.9%),No.0 capsule or stimulant solution(15.0%),Magu(10.6%)and other new type drugs(16.8%)as the most common drugs used.Among 453 respondents,48.3%(219/453)had experienced at least one type of sexual violence and 88.7%(402/453)had used pornographic media in the past 6 months. The median number of regular and casual sexual partners was(4 ± 2)and(7 ± 5),respectively.29.1%(132/453)had group sex and 76.4%(346/453)had anal ejaculation without a condom.11.0%(50/453)had commercial sexual behavior. The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that abusing new drug was positively correlated with sexual violence experiences,SEM consumption and sexual risk behavior(P < 0.05),while the age at first SEM exposure was negatively correlated with sexual violence experiences and sexual risk behavior(P < 0.05).The respondents who preferred violence in SEM were more likely to have sexual violence experiences(P<0.05),and those who preferred CAI and group sex in SEM reported a higher probability of sexual risk behavior(P < 0.05).There were significant positive correlation among the sexual violence experiences,SEM consumption and sexual risk behavior(P<0.05).Conclusion: There is a pairwise positive correlation among sexual violence experiences,SEM consumption and sexual risk behavior of HMNDA.It is necessary to carry out educational intervention against the new drugs abuse in MSM,conduct comprehensive evaluation, consultation and personal education on HMNDA,and intervene in SEM exposure of young adolescents,so as to reduce sexual violence experiences and sexual risk behavior that may promote the transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. It’s recommended to eliminate the new drugs abuse and SEM consumption by taking active measures. |
