| Early cognitive development in children is influenced and constrained by various factors, among which family factors have a unique influence. The family system mainly affects family members through two ways: one is family culture;Another type is the highly patterned interpersonal relationship schema formed by family members in their daily lives. In order to explore the characteristics of family interpersonal relationship schemata in early childhood development and their relationship with children’s early cognitive development level,31 children aged 3-6 were recruited to participate in the following three studies.Study 1 used Psycho Py to write a program that adjusts the placement technique of felt patterns and uses non-physical measurements to detect the relationship characteristics of children’s family interpersonal relationships. The results showed that children exhibited a relationship characteristic of family members being closer and strangers being farther apart when placing all character images; When placing the image of family members,it shows the relationship characteristics of similar age and close distance between different gender characters. Therefore, there is a certain degree of consistency in the relationship characteristics of family interpersonal relationship schemata among children aged 3-6.Study 2 used Psycho Py to write a program to adjust the family system testing techniques and use non-physical measurements to detect the structural features of children’s family interpersonal relationship schemas. The results showed that if the psychological distance between the father and mother is relatively far,the mother and son or father son often form cross generational alliances; There is a hierarchical structure of power in the family, with patriarchal and maternal power being higher than child power, and cohesion being constrained by power; Most children’s family interpersonal relationship schemata exhibit structural balance characteristics with cohesion and moderate hierarchical differences, while a few children’s family interpersonal relationship schemata exhibit structural imbalance characteristics. There are individual differences in the structural characteristics of family interpersonal relationship schemas among children aged 3-6.Study 3 used the Gesell Development Scale to measure the development level of five cognitive functional areas in children through on-site operations, linking the developmental quotient score with the structural balance characteristics in the results of Study 2,and exploring the correlation between children’s early cognitive development level and the structural balance characteristics of family interpersonal relationship schemas. The results showed that children’s cognitive development was affected by the characteristics of structural balance. The average value of each energy region of children with family structure balance was significantly higher than that of children with structural imbalance. In summary,(1)there is consistency in the relationship characteristics of family interpersonal relationship schemata. This indicates that children aged 3-6 have developed a relatively stable family interpersonal relationship schema in their minds.(2)There are individual differences in the structural characteristics of family interpersonal relationship schemata, and children with balanced structures have significantly higher cognitive development levels than those with imbalanced structures. This indicates that the structural balance of family interpersonal relationship schemata is closely related to children’s cognitive development level. Therefore, the structural balance features in family interpersonal relationship schemata may be a potential factor that affects children’s cognitive development and is often overlooked by people. |
