Objective: To explore the neutrophile to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR)in peripheral blood, platelet distribution width(PDW),red blood cell distribution width(RDW)and indicators such as hemoglobin to red blood cell distribution width ratio(HRR)and their clinical significance in the auxiliary diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods: Ninety lung cancer patients diagnosed by pathology at the cardiothoracic and vascular department of the Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities between 01/01/2018 and 01/01/2022 were selected for the study.Ninety patients with a medical examination were also selected as a control group at the hospital medical examination center. The value parameters of peripheral blood cells were obtained by automatic blood cell analyzer in clinical laboratory of our hospital, and the differences of NLR,PLR,PDW,RDW and HRR between lung cancer patients and control group were statistically analyzed. The relationship between the above indicators and the occurrence of lung cancer was determined by binary logistic regression model, and the working characteristic curve of subjects was drawn. To examine the area, sensitivity and specificity under the curve of each index individually and in combination in the auxiliary diagnosis of lung cancer. Results: NLR,PLR,PDW,RDW and HRR could be used to distinguish lung cancer patients from healthy controls(P<0.05).Binary logistic regression analysis found that RDW(P=0.265),PDW(P=0.504),PLR(P=0.598),all P > 0.05,indicating that there was no linear relationship between RDW,PDW,PLR and lung cancer. Both NLR and HRR were P < 0.001,indicating a linear relationship with lung cancer,It means that both have a significant positive effect on the occurrence of lung cancer.ROC curve analysis showed that all indexes were effective in the diagnosis of lung cancer,The NLR’s AUC is 0.716,the sensibility is 54.44%and the specifity is 94.44%,P < 0.001;The RDW’s AUC for lung cancer screening was 0.726,the sensibility was 63.33%,the specifity was 73.33%,P < 0.001;The PDW’s AUC was 0.599,the sensibility was 56.70%,the specifity was 62.60%,P=0.02.The PLR’s AUC was 0.686,the sensibility was 46.70%,the specifity was 92.20%,P < 0.001;The HRR’s AUC was 0.805,the sensibility was 68.90%,the specifity was 84.40%,P < 0.001.The diagnosis value of the five indices(AUC=0.879,95% CI: 0.822-0.923,sensitivity 81.10%,specificity 83.30%)was significantly higher than any one of them. Conclusion: NLR,PLR,PDW,RDW and HRR can be used as simple and effective biomarkers for auxiliary diagnosis of lung cancer, and the diagnostic efficacy is greatly improved when all indicators are combined.
