| Purpose:To investigate the effect of self-formulated formula of solid root and elimination of Zheng and water evacuation soup on the quality of life and prognosis of patients after TACE for hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:The randomized controlled clinical trial included 60 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma treated by trans-TACE procedure,and the patients received combined Chinese and Western medicine treatment or Western medicine symptomatic treatment alone for 4 weeks,and were followed up for 12 weeks.After treatment,the indices of KPS score,QOL score,TCM symptom score,tumor markers,liver function markers,and adverse reaction score of the two groups were observed,and the results were analyzed using SPSS22.0 system software to evaluate the clinical treatment effect of the selfprepared formula of solid root and elimination of symptoms and water.Results:Sixty patients who met the criteria were included in this study,and a randomized control method was used,with a final number of 60 cases observed.1.After treatment,KPS scores increased in both groups.The KPS score in the group using Western medicine alone increased from 73.13±13.69 to 80.20±16.08,with an upward trend,while the combined Western and Chinese medicine treatment group increased from 71.27 ± 13.95 to 88.17 ± 13.07(p<0.05),and the experimental group improved significantly better than the control group after treatment.patients in the experimental group were treated with QOL-C30 The total scores of psychological status,material life and selffeeling in the QOL-C30 scale were higher in the experimental group than in the control group after treatment,with significant differences(p<0.05).2.Among the patients in the experimental group after treatment,the number of patients with significant efficacy,effective and ineffective were 13,11 and 5,respectively;while the number of patients in the control group was 7,15,and 8,respectively,which was significantly better than the control group when compared with the pre-treatment group(p<0.05).After treatment,patients in both experimental and control groups had different degrees of improvement in their TCM clinical evidence points(P<0.05),and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).3.After treatment,the improvement of all adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group,with significant differences(both P<0.05);especially in the clinical treatment of fatigue and abdominal distension,the combination of conventional treatment and TCM treatment was better(P<0.05).4.Both the control group and the experimental group showed a decrease in the value of AFP after treatment compared with that before treatment,and there was a large difference in the change of AFP before and after treatment in patients in both groups,and the level of AFP after treatment was better than that before treatment,indicating that both conventional postoperative TACE treatment and traditional Chinese medicine treatment were effective for patients.Conclusion:1.The combination of solid root and elimination of Zheng and waterdispersal soup(self-formulated formula)with conventional Western medicine treatment can improve the TCM symptom scores,alleviate the symptoms of embolism syndrome(liver pain,decreased appetite,nausea and vomiting,and fatigue),contribute to the recovery of liver function,improve the quality of survival,and promote the recovery of liver cells in post-TACE patients,and also have a satisfactory performance in terms of safety,so it has a good clinical promotion value.2.There was no significant difference in the short-term postoperative recurrence rate between the two treatment modalities.3.There was no significant effect of the two treatment modalities on patients’ KPS quality of life,which proved that the soup had no effect on patients’ life and physical strength and had good safety. |
