Obj ective:In order to find a more effective treatment method for mergin g Chinese and We stern medicine in the treatment of delayed heali ng of long stem fractures of the extremities,the clinical effective ness of PRP combined with the Xianling Bone Depot capsule has been observed in the treatment of delayed healing of stem fractur es of the extremities.The clinical feasibility of PRP in combinati on with the Xianling Bone Depot capsule in the treatment of dela yed healing of long stem fractures of the extremities was also exa mined.Method:45 patients who were seen between April 2021 and December 2022 at the Department of Orthopedic and Traumatic Surgery of t he First Hospital of Heil ongj i ang University of Traditi onal Chine se Medicine and the Fifth Hospital of Harbin City and met the dia gnostic and inclusion criteria of the study project were chosen.A ccording to the patient’s wishes,patients were randomized into 3 groups.In the treatment group,there were 9 men and 6 women wh o had PRP injection therapy together with oral Xianling Bone Dep ot capsule administration.In Control Group A,which comprised 10 males and 5 females,PRP was given on its own.In Control Gro up B,which comprised 10 males and 5 females,the Xianling Bone Program was administered orally.At 2,4,and 6 months after the s tart of treatment,the VAS pain scores and Fernandez-esteve X-ray bone scab ratings[1]were observed.After 6 months of treatment,functional outcomes and clinical effectiveness of the affected lim bs were also assessed,and statistical analysis was conducted usin g the SPSS26.0 software.Result:1.Baseline comparison:All 45 patients were treated clinicall y without excretion or rejection.Basic patient statistics,such as gender,age,illness duration,and fracture location,as well as sta tistical analysis of bone scab grade before to therapy,did not var y significantly(P>0.05)and were similar amongst the three pati ent groups.2.VAS pain ratings:Following therapy,VAS scores dropped i n all three groups,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).The difference in VAS ratings between the treatment group and control groups A and B at 6 months after treatment was statis tically significant(P<0.05).3.Bone scab growth:Patients in all three groups saw an incre ase in their Fernandez-esteve X-ray bone scab scores[1]after ther apy,and there was a statistically significant difference between e ach group’s change in bone scab scores between before treatment and six months after treatment(P<0.01).There were differences between the treatment group and control groups A and B in the co mparison of bone scab assessments at 2,4 and 6 months following treatment that were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Functional assessments of the injured limbs:The treatment group showed statistically significant differences from both cont rol groups A and B(P<0.05)in both of these comparisons.In th e treatment group,the excellent rate was 93.3%,compared to 66.7%in control group A and 53.3%in control group B.5.Clinical efficacy evaluation:the treatment group’s effectiv eness rate was 93.33%,the control groups’ respective effectivene ss rates were 86.67%and 73.33%.The treatment group’s effectiv eness rate was higher than that of control groups A and B.The ch ange was both statistically and significantly different(P<0.01).Conclusion:It is simple and safe to use PRP in combination with Xianling Bone Depot Capsules to treat long stem fractures of the extremiti es that have delayed healing,encourage the growth of bone scabs at the site of delayed healing,and enhance the function of the aff ected limbs.
