| Objective: To compare the thickness of labial bone plate of maxillary central incisor in patients with chronic periodontitis between different sexes, different ethnic groups, different ages, and different degrees of periodontal tissue damage, and the thickness of labial bone plate of maxillary central incisor between patients with chronic periodontitis and those with normal periodontitis. Methods: 240 patients who were admitted to the Department of Stomatology of the Second Clinical Medical College of Xinjiang Medical University and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected.Cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)was used to measure the thickness of the labial bone plate of the maxillary central incisors of all subjects, and the data were statistically analyzed. Results: 1.There were differences in the thickness of labial bone plate of maxillary central incisors between patients with chronic periodontitis of different sexes. The thickness of labial bone plate of male was greater than that of female.2.There was no significant difference in the thickness of labial bone plate of maxillary central incisors between Uygur and Han patients with chronic periodontitis.3.Compared with the<30years old group, the labial bone plate of the maxillary central incisor in the 40~49 years old group and≥50 years old group with chronic periodontitis was thicker, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The labial bone plate of the maxillary central incisor in patients with moderate chronic periodontitis is thicker than that in patients with mild chronic periodontitis, and the labial bone plate of the maxillary central incisor in patients with severe chronic periodontitis is thicker than that in patients with mild chronic periodontitis and patients with moderate chronic periodontitis. The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The labial bone plate of maxillary central incisor in patients with chronic periodontitis was thicker than that in patients with normal periodontitis, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: The thickness of the labial bone plate of the maxillary central incisor in patients with chronic periodontitis is relatively thin, and is affected by gender, age and the degree of periodontal tissue destruction.Clinical needs to integrate the image data and individual characteristics of patients, and select a reasonable implant method to obtain good implant function and aesthetic effect. |
