Diagnostic Value Of VTIQ Combined With ABVS In Breast Masses

Objective: To study the clinical value of acoustic palpation tissue imaging(VTIQ)and automatic total volume breast scanning(ABVS)in the diagnosis of breast mass.Methods: A total of 110 patients with breast mass(125 lesions)admitted to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from October 2020 to August2022 were selected.All patients were examined by VTIQ and ABVS,respectively,and compared with the final pathological results.In this study,the diagnostic capabilities of two-dimensional ultrasound,VTIQ,ABVS and VTIQ combined with ABVS were analyzed,including sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value,negative predictive value,positive likelihood ratio,and negative likelihood ratio,and were evaluated by drawing receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Results: Of 125 lesions,78 were malignant and 47 were benign.Efficacy of different methods in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses: Two-dimensional ultrasonic sensitivity86.2%,specificity 82.7%,accuracy 84.9%,positive predictive value 89.9%,negative predictive value 80.1%,VTIQ sensitivity 87.2%,specificity 87.2%,accuracy 87.2%,positive predictive value 91.7%,negative predictive value 80.4%.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of ABVS were 88.5%,85.1% and 88.8%.The positive predictive value of ABVS was 92.0% and negative predictive value was 87.2%.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of VTIQ combined with ABVS were 93.6%,89.4%,90.4%,positive predictive value and 93.6%,respectively.The area under the curve was calculated according to the ROC curve(AUC,2D ultrasound was 0.809,VTIQ was 0.844,ABVS was 0.905,and VTIQ combined with ABVS was 0.911).Conclusion: The combination of ABVS and VTIQ technology can effectively improve the diagnostic value of early breast cancer and improve the detection rate of malignant tumors.The average SWV of VTIQ technology is 3.94m/s,which is the best for the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses.
