| Objective:To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of Zhang’s reduction method combined with verteboplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, and to provide clinical reference for the treatment of the disease. Methods:A total of 60 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures who were hospitalized in Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology,Zhangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to October 2022 were selected. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group.Control group:basic treatment+vertebroplasty; The experimental group was treated with basic treatment+vertebroplasty+Zhang’s reduction method. The NRS score,Cobb Angle and anterior edge height of injured vertebra were evaluated before and after treatment. The data were collected for statistical analysis, and the short-term clinical efficacy and safety of Zhang’s reduction method combined with vertebroplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were summarized and evaluated. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in NRS score,Cobb Angle and anterior edge height of injured vertebra between the two groups(P>0.05).1.NRS scores:After treatment, the NRS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Both groups could relieve pain after treatment, but there was no significant difference in NRS score between the control group and the experimental group after treatment(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the relief of low back pain between the two groups.2.Cobb Angle: After treatment, the Cobb Angle of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The kyphosis of the two groups was improved after treatment, and the Cobb Angle between the control group and the experimental group after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).This indicates that manipulation combined with surgery is more effective in improving kyphosis.3.The anterior height of the injured vertebra:after treatment, the anterior height of the injured vertebra in the two groups was higher than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the vertebral height of the two groups could be restored to a certain extent, and the difference in the anterior vertebral height between the control group and the experimental group after treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05).This indicates that manipulation combined with surgery is more effective in restoring vertebral height.4.Results of safety evaluation analysis:(1)Experimental group:Ⅰ 29 cases,Ⅱ 1 case,Ⅲ 0 case,Ⅳ0 case.(2)Control group:Ⅰ 28 cases,Ⅱ 2 cases,Ⅲ 0 cases,Ⅳ 0 cases. There was no statistically significant difference in the safety evaluation between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Zhang’s reduction method can effectively correct the Cobb Angle of the kyphosis and partially restore the height of the compressed vertebral body, and the clinical effect is clear. Therefore,Zhang’s reduction method combined with vertebroplasty is an effective method for the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, which is worthy of popularization and application. |
