Objective In this study,"Shu-mu acupoint matching combined with pricking three points" was used to treat phlegm-fire stagnated tinnitus, and the clinical efficacy of "Shu-mu acupoint matching combined with pricking three points" and "routine acupuncture" in treating phlegm-fire stagnated tinnitus was compared, and the clinical efficacy difference and safety of the two acupuncture methods were objectively evaluated to provide reliable basis for clinical screening of the best treatment scheme.MethodsIn this study,72 patients with nervous tinnitus were strictly divided into the observation group of 36 cases("Shu Mu point combination combined with shu acupuncture three points of ear " group)and the control group of 36 cases(conventional acupunct ure group)in strict accordance with the inclusion criteria and the randomization principle. In the control group, the "routine acupuncture method" was used. The main points were Ting Gong,Ting Hui,Yi Feng,Xia Xi and Zhong Zhu,and the matching points were Feng Long and Nei Ting. The observation group adopted the "Shu-mu matching points combined with ear puncture at three points",and added Shu-mu matching points(Gan Shu,Pi Shu,Zhang Men,and Qi Men)to the selected points of the control group, and the ear puncture at three points(Ting Gong,Ting Hui,and Yi Feng).10 times is a course of treatment, and both groups are treated for 2 courses of treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,THI score,TEQ score were used as the observation indicators, and TEQ rating was used as the efficacy evaluation criteria. The changes in the scores of various scales before and after treatment were observed,And statistical analysis of clinical efficacy.ResultsA total of 72 patients were included in this study.During the study,1 case excluded/dropped of the observation group,2 cases excluded/dropped of the control group, and 69 cases were finally completed.(1)Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in age, gender, tinnitus side, course of disease,Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,THI score,TEQ score and TEQ rating(P>0.05),which was comparable.(2)After treatment, the Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,THI score and TEQ score of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).TEQ rating also improved compared with those before treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).(3)After treatment, the Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,THI score and TEQ score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement of TEQ rating was also significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).(4)After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 94.29%,which was significantly better than that of the control group(76.47%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions(1)Shu-mu acupoint matching combined with pricking three acupoints and routine acupuncture have clinical effects on tinnitus of phlegm-fire stagnation type.(2)The combination of Shu-Mu acupoints and pricking three acupoints is superior to conventional acupuncture in improving the clinical symptoms of TCM,reducing the severity of tinnitus and the degree of disability in patients with phlegm-fire stagnation type of nervous tinnitus.(3)The total effective rate of Shu-Mu acupoint matching combined with ear pricking at three acupoints in the treatment of phlegm-fire stagnation type of nervous tinnitus is significantly better than that of conventional acupuncture, and has good safety, which is worthy of clinical application.
