Clinical Effect Of Guizhi Paeoniao Zhimu Decoction On Knee Osteoarthritis(Cold And Dampness Obstruction Type)

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Decoction on knee osteoarthritis(cold and damp bi-blocking type).Methods: The clinical trial method used in this experiment is a Randomized controlled trial,with sick person selected from affiliated hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2020 to October 2021 in our hospital’s treatment area and outpatient treatment.Seventy-two patients with knee osteoarthritis(type of cold dampness obstruction)who met the criteria were included and randomly divided into two groups: the therapeutic group and the matched group.The treatment group was treated with Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Decoction,and the matched group was treated with glucosamine sulfate capsule.The duration of the two groups of treatment courses is four weeks in total.By observing the VAS score,WOMAC score,and the score of the knee arthralgia symptom grading quantitative table before and after receiving treatment,and recording relevant statistical data,comparative analysis is conducted.Results: 1.General data: In the absence of treatment,after statistical analysis of the gender composition,onset position,and age of the patients in the two groups,It is found that these aspects can be compared,and there are differences between them that we can easily find.(P>0.05);2.VAS score: Through treatment for some time,the VAS scores of both groups all showed a katabatic trend,so this difference should be statistically meaning(P < 0.05).3.WOMAC Quantitative Table Score: The scores of pain,stiffness,and daily living ability of the two groups of patients,regardless of how much,all showed a certain degree of decline,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).4.Quantitative scoring table for knee arthralgia syndrome grading: The scores of both groups of patients showed a certain degree of decline,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).5.Efficiency analysis:Treatment group: 6 instances were healed,9 instances had clear result,18 instances had result,and 3 instances had no influence.The general effective ratio was 91.67%.Control group: 4 instances were healed,13 instances had significant result,12 instances had result,and 7 instances had no result.The general effective ratio was 80.56%.There was a obvious difference in the effective percentage between the what happens when two groups of patients are treated.(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Both Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Decoction and Glucosamine Sulfate Capsule have effects on treating pain and other symptoms of knee osteoarthritis and improving joint activity.Compared with glucosamine sulfate capsules,the overall effective rate of Guizhi Shaoyao Zhimu Decoction in the treatment of KOA reached 91.67%.It has good a result.
