Objective Patients with refractory angina pectoris(RFA)’s heart rate variability(HRV)were analyzed to discuss the predictive value of HRV for patients’ prognosis. Methods Sixty patients with refractory angina pectoris and 60 patients with non-refractory angina pectoris during the same period were selected as the control group, aims to analyze the HRV index between the two groups. The results included the standard deviation ofstandard deviation of RR interval per 5 min in 24h(SDANN)and are also included the mean of RR interval of all sinus heartbeats(SDNN)and the percentage of adjacent RR interval difference>50ms in total heart beats(pNN50)and the root mean square of adjacent RR interval difference(rMSSD)、low frequency power(LF)、very low frequency power(VLF)and included high frequency power(HF)、and included low frequency and high frequency power ratio(LF/HF),and the risk factors of refractory angina pectoris were corrected by binary logistic regression analysis. The occurence of major adverse cardiac events(MACE)was recorded in both groups within one year after discharge. The refractory angina patients fall into MACE and non-MACE subgroups according to the occurrence of MACE,and HRV and related risk factors between the two subgroups were analyzed and compared.Results(1)The HRV indexes include SDANN,SDNN,PNN50,rMSSD,VLF,LF and HF in refractory angina group were significantly lower than those in non-refractory angina group(P<0.05),and PNN50,rMSSD and LF were still decreased after correction(P<0.05).(2)The HRV indexes SDANN,SDNN and VLF in refractory angina were significantly decreased in MACE group(P<0.05),and it was still have significant means in SDNN and SDANN between the two groups after correction(P<0.05).Conclusion HRV is decreased in patients with refractory angina, and downregulation of HRV is a predictor of MACE in refractory angina.
