With the progress of hardware and software,Virtual Reality technology is increasingly closely integrated with various industries.In recent years,the application of this technology has become a hot research direction in the field of medical teaching.The existing virtual stomatology teaching system is not interactive enough,which leads to low teaching efficiency and can not effectively help stomatology students establish the concept of human body space structure.As a preprocessing and modeling tool of teaching system,the existing medical image processing software also has some problems,such as too high image noise affects the diagnosis of lesions,heterogeneous data types affect the efficiency of data exchange,and the function of target recognition and segmentation is not sound.In view of the above problems,this thesis studies the data processing algorithm of stomatology and the key technologies of virtual reality application,and designs and develops a stomatology teaching auxiliary system based on virtual reality.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)An improved image denoising algorithm based on adaptive NLM is proposed.In this thesis,the influence of algorithm parameters on the effectiveness of adaptive NLM algorithm is studied.By introducing gray gradients in eight directions around pixel points,the algorithm iteration is inspired and guided,so as to realize the adaptive adjustment of filtering parameters in the process of iteration,thus improving the accuracy of denoising.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm preserves more image details while removing image noise,and the signal-to-noise ratio is improved by 10.9d B compared with the original algorithm.(2)Developed a set of dental data processing tools.This thesis collects,studies and analyzes the existing basic medical data processing algorithms,including:medical data format conversion algorithm,medical image noise reduction algorithm,target recognition and segmentation algorithm and medical image 3D reconstruction algorithm.The calling scenarios and usage requirements of these algorithms in engineering applications were analyzed,the integration and interface encapsulation methods of algorithms were redesigned,and a set of dental data processing tool set was designed and developed.This tool set applies the above improved algorithm based on adaptive NLM image noise reduction to achieve a set of oral medicine data noise reduction,mandibular alveolar neural tube recognition and segmentation,and finally derive a three-dimensional model of the oral medicine data processing flow.(3)Developed a set of oral medicine teaching assistance system based on Virtual Reality.The system consists of two parts: visual medical data processing platform based on dental data processing tool set and multi-person interactive oral medicine teaching system based on Virtual Reality.Among them,the multi-person interactive stomatology teaching system based on Virtual Reality has designed and implemented multi-person communication,model distribution and other modules,which can support the virtual teaching scene of multi-person online real-time interaction,so as to solve the problems of the existing virtual stomatology teaching system and improve the teaching quality.The system has reached the expected requirement through the practical test of stomatology students.Virtual reality-based multi-person interactive stomatology teaching system can promote the progress of stomatology teaching.
