Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety indicators of Mongolian medicine plus flavored Huanglian-5 flavore powder Niruha therapy in the treatment of radiation enteritis. To observe the effect of Mongolian medicine plus flavored Huanglian-5 flavore powder Niruha therapy on the intestinal flora of radioactive enteritis. Methods:From November 2021 to October 2022,52 patients with radiation enteritis who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were hospitalized in the Radiotherapy Departments A,B,and C of the People’s Hospital Affiliated with Inner Mongolia Medical University. They were divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 26 patients in each group. The blank group consisted of 10 healthy volunteers. The treatment group was treated with Mongolian medicine plus flavored Huanglian-5 flavore powder Niruha therapy for radiation enteritis, while the control group was treated with mesalazine enema retention enema for radiation enteritis, while the blank group was not treated. The treatment group and the control group were treated on an empty stomach once a day in the morning. After 7 days of continuous treatment, the safety indicators such as blood routine, liver and kidney functions, ionic five items, electrocardiogram, and the efficacy indicators such as Mongolian medicine syndrome score, radiation injury grade, and KPS score were observed in both groups. The feces of the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were collected, and the feces of the blank group were placed in a refrigerator at-80 ° C for freezing. The intestinal flora was detected and analyzed using 16 s DNA sequencing.Results:(1)Comparison of clinical symptoms between the treatment group and the control group after treatment:(1)There was a significant difference in the scores of abdominal pain, diarrhea, mucus bloody stool, and fatigue between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that both groups were effective in treating abdominal pain, diarrhea, mucus bloody stool, and fatigue, and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group There was no significant difference in the scores of anorexia and tenesmus in the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were also effective in treating anorexia and tenesmus Comparison of curative effects between the two groups: the effective rate in the treatment group was 96.15%,and the effective rate in the control group was 80.77%,with a significant difference(P Comparison of graded remission rates of radiation injury between the two groups: the remission rate in the treatment group was 76.92%,and the remission rate in the control group was 50%,with significant differences(P<0.05),indicating that both groups can improve radiation injury, and the treatment group is superior to the control group.(5)There was a significant difference in KPS scores between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that both groups could improve the quality of life of patients, and the treatment group was superior to the control group.(2)Analysis results of intestinal flora:(1)Analysis results of intestinal flora in blank group and RE group(referring to patients with radiation enteritis before treatment in treatment group and control group): patients with radiation enteritis α Reduced diversity,β There were significant differences in microbial community diversity, with a decrease in the abundance ratios of Thickwalled bacteria,Bacteroides,Desulfobacteria, and Verrucomycetes, while an increase in the abundance ratios of Proteobacteria and Actinomycetes, with significant differences(P<0.05).(2)Analysis results of intestinal flora after treatment of radiation enteritis with Mongolian medicine plus flavored Huanglian-5 flavore powder Niruha therapy : αIncreased diversity,β There were significant differences in microbial community diversity, with an increase in the relative abundance ratios of Bacteroides and Thickwalled bacteria, and a decrease in the relative abundance ratios of Proteobacteria and Actinomycetes, all of which had significant differences(P<0.05)Analysis results of intestinal flora in the treatment group and the control group after treatment of radioactive enteritis: α The diversity increased, the relative abundance ratio of Bacteroides increased, and the relative abundance ratio of Proteobacteria decreased, with significant differences(P<0.05).β There was no significant difference in microbial community diversity, with an increase in the relative abundance ratio of Thickwalled bacteria and a decrease in the relative abundance ratio of Actinomyces(P>0.05).Indicates an increase in medication use in the treatment group α Diversity, increasing the relative abundance ratio of Bacteroides and reducing the relative abundance ratio of Proteobacteria were superior to the control group.(3)Safety analysis: During the treatment period, there were no adverse reactions in both groups, and there was no significant difference in clinical safety tests between the two group, with no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Mongolian medicine plus flavored Huanglian-5 flavore powder Niruha therapy has a good effect on abdominal pain, loss of appetite, diarrhea, mucus and bloody stool, urgency, weight loss, fatigue, etc.of radiation enteritis, and improves the remission rate and quality of life of patients with radiation enteritis, which is safe and reliable.(2)Radiation enteritis patient α Reduced diversity,β There were significant differences in microbial community diversity, with a decrease in the relative abundance ratios of Thickwalled Bacillus,Bacteroides,Desulfurized Bacillus, and Verrucomycetes, while an increase in the relative abundance ratios of Proteobacteria and Actinomycetes.(3)Mongolian medicine plus flavored Huanglian-5 flavore powder Niruha therapy for Radioactive Enteritis α Increased diversity,β Significant differences in microbial communities have occurred in diversity, resulting in an increasing in the relative abundance ratios of Thickwalled and Bacteroides, while a decrease in the relative abundance ratios of Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria, which has played a therapeutic role in radiation enteritis.
